We took two of our grandsons to see this play at White Rock. We sat in row D - front row and was disappointed with the view of the stage we were so close you could not see their feet, also they have speakers dotted along the front of the stage and one was directly in front of my 6 year old and he couldn't see alot of the production. I would definatetly sit further back if we went again.
Enough - the actors were brilliant - especially George - my youngest laughed throughout. There was audience participation which the children adored.
Definately recommended - but not in row D !!

I took my 6 year old to see this and she giggled, laughed and shouted (at the appropriate moments!) throughout. A fabulous, fun show with a large touch of pantomime and farce. Adults and children alike will enjoy this show. Marvellous!

Took my 8 year old daughter to see this. Entertaining and funny for children. Shame parents sitting in front and next to us found Facebook on mobile phones more interesting!

George's marvellous medicine was thoroughly entertaining.
The Cast got the children in the audience involved by George asking what he should put in his medicine. And then helping George remember what he put in when he made the second batch. The kids in the audience were really enthusiastic and everyone was laughing.
The set and effects were very good.
They cleverly made Grandma tall and small and the same with the animals.
The programme cost £3 and was good, it had plenty of activites for the children to do.
It was a very enjoyable evening, well worth the money!

Excellent show that was really good value for money. My children thoroughly enjoyed yelling their heads off whilst helping George make his 'marvellous medicine'!
If you haven't seen this show I would recommend that you do! Lots of laughs!!

The play was very good and players acted well and kept the audience entertained and involved. The seating was very in the stalls and although we sat in the middle and near the front, people obstructed our view.

me and my 6 year old son went and he thoroughly enjoyed it, the actors got the kids and adults involved too, the performance didnt last for ages so my son didnt get irritable. great show!

Very entertaining - well put together - good audience interaction.
For such a small cast to deliver such a good show - it was well done.
The children (8 and 5) really really enjoyed it.

Wow! This show was fantastic! Lively, energetic, good fun and remained true to the book. My two boys (aged 5 and nearly 7) loved it. My only gripe was the misinformation within the programmes that we bought: it stated that Roald Dahl went to school in Repton, Yorkshire. Repton is in Derbyshire - I know this because I live there!!

After watching the RSC's Matilda I was looking forward to another Roald Dahl classic with eager anticipation. Unfortunately these two productions are poles apart with the only common feature being the famous author. If you have very small children and love pantomimes then this is the play for you. If however your kids are similar ages to mine i.e 12 and 14 then my advice would be don't bother.

I went with my daughter and grandaughter to see George's Marvellous Medicine, it was an absolutly fantastic show. The father was really talented and was hilarious. Lots of audience participation. My grandaughter was laughing and shouting (as were all the other children) and loved 'taking part' a superb show, highy recommended
