Ross Noble is back on another annual tour, 'Things', and it is fair to say 'things' are definitely at the core. Whatever takes his fancy, whoever is in the audience that night, every show is basically new. For a show that averages 75 minutes per half (encores excluded), Noble has what seems to be at max 30-40 minutes of pre-rehearsed material: all the rest is eccentric, funny, ad-libbed banter with the audience. What happens each night depends on what's on his mind and what you the audience can throw at him (or leave on the stage for him). Noble broadly discusses 'Things' and will do, more or less, anything to get you drawn into his fantastically crazy world. Fantastic entertainment!

I had never seen Ross Noble but love good comedy. I had high hopes but didn't laugh once. It was painful several people beside us were asleep after the first half hour. We were stuck, if it wasn't for the guy snoring beside us we would never have stayed for the whole show. Waste of 3 hours of my life and money out the window.
He did a bit about shagging a ghost which he drew out for over 45 mins, what I would expect from a teenager not someone who does this for a living. Horrid and so would never ever pay or recommened this to anyone.

Apart from getting flea bites from the mucky seats (yes, I did say flea bites), Ross was on top form. The tickets were a present for my boyfriend and I wasn't so keen but it was three hours of pure random :)

We have seen Ross Noble each year for the last five tours. Tonight's show wasn't up to his usual form. Mind you last year's gig didn't quite have the spark either.

Ross has had throat and chest problems for a while now, but I can't help thinking he is losing that creative magic.

The theatre was absolutely freezing too, which didn't help.

The way he hops around from topic to topic, lightly brushing on the term sense, made the evening something special, considering most of it was improv anyway. He was definitely unforgettable on sunday.

Brilliant show, Ross was on top form despite a rather disgusting sounding chest infection, he kept the crowd entertained for an hour in the first half and nearly 2hrs in the second half. I haven't laughed that much in ages!

By the interval my face hurt from laughing, although I'm not sure why. Ross is one of those stand ups that only work because it's him ( just like tommy cooper, anyone else wouldn't be funny). Not a single joke, just the ramblings of a madman & I loved every single moment (as did my girlfriend). Ross was on stage for what must of been two & half hours (compared to Ricky gervais dull 45 minutes) & my the end had us checking watches encase we missed the last train, but, I bet we would have chanced walking home rather than miss finding out why he had a fight on twitter with Duncan ballantine.

This wasn't his best show, I don't think I like how his performances have evolved from what they were 10 years ago. nevertheless, he's an incredibly funny, intelligent and original comic and is definitely worth going to see if you've never seen him live. Even an under par Noble is better than 99% of other high profile comics

Went to see Ross Noble at The Apollo, Hammersmith on Monday 13th December. Unfortunately not a very good show. We have seen him twice before and he was much better. To be fair he was suffering from a cold and this show was at the end of an exhausting run which did not help. Ross uses the audience to go off at a tangent to usually provide a thoroughly interesting evening. Maybe the responses from the crowd did not get his juices flowing and the whole evening was very flat. The theatre is a DISGRACE. Run down and filthy. The seat backs were covered in dust. HMV should be embarrased to treat customers with such ABSOLUTE DISDAIN. I will not be coming here again and will deter all my friends and colleagues to attend any show there.

Ross was funny as usual although I do think he was hindered by his cold! down side was the accoustics were poor & the speakers on our side were intermittent.

I took my boyf to see Ross Noble as a treat as he'd seen him in a realy small venue years ago (before he was famous) and has always said he's one of the funniest comendians he's ever seen. And he was incredibly funny (especially at the start), but he was clearly not feeling well, and I think this affected his mood a little, maybe making him a bit angrier and less full of his trademark joy than we had expected. HOWEVER, it was a fantastic show and Ross continues to be one of the best ad lib comedians on the circuit, if not the best. If you have an opportunity to go and see him, do it! You won't regret it.

I've seen Ross Noble perform before. He was amazing then.
On Sunday he was superb. He's my biggest inspiration to start a stand-up career. I hugely admire his ability to come on stage, seemingly without a plan (if he does have one, it's very well disguised) and make the audience feel like every night is different and exclusive. Tim Minchin describes him as a 'mentally ill northerner' and that is the most apt depiction of him I can imagine. However, he is one of, if not my favourite comics to watch on stage. He makes my face hurt from laughing so much every time; he doesn't come across that well on TV, but on stage, he is impossible not to adore.

This is the 2nd time that me and my partner have been to see Ross Noble and he was just as good as the 1st time.

We love the fact that he is what we would call a REAL comedian, meaning that he doesnt have a script and his jokes are about audience members and other life experiences and are made up there and then which we think makes it alot more funny!

Would recommend going to see him.
