See this act for first time 15 years ago when i was given free tickets and did not expect to enjoy them as i did,and now i review their latest tour.You think how can a few people on drums entertain but to most peoples surprise they are very engaging and give as much enjoyment to themselves as to the audience thus resulting in a performance that not only is true to the origination of this music from Japan but from the heart as well.It would be all too easy for the band to diversify into covering more modern tunes on their wonderful instruments and after you see the whole performance you get to sense why they do not do this ,in fact i heard a few japanese people conversing after the show and they reflected just how authentic the show was compared to what would be seen in its homeland, a true testimony of them sticking to the faith and tradtions of the music

Pure dead brilliant. Loved the audience participation - but how can one fail to respond to those vibrations.

I have seen taiko drumming in Japan at a festival in Narita.It is an amazing experience.These performers who come from Scotland produced an interesting evening and were warmly acclaimed by the audience.If you get the chance do go and see them.
