Bought tickets as my partner loves Buddy Holly's music, but sadly when we saw the show, they only did about 10 maximum by Buddy and all the rest were by different artists. Nowhere near enough BH songs and sadly also, Buddy was totally upstaged throughout by the rythm guitarist/promotor who thought the show was all about him!!
We thought it was a Buddy Holly tribute band but alas they were just playing various artists Rock and Roll.

Rather disappointed with "Buddy". Problems with the microphone and sound system early on were not improved during the performance. Bass player slightly out of timing with some numbers. Undoubtedly the performers had great skill in playing musical instruments but their energy and enthusiasm didn't generate quality of sound and polish to the numbers. Suits were beginning to look a little "shiny".
Whole experience left us feeling that we didn't really enjoy "tribute" bands that much but perhaps we were sitting too close to the stage and failed to see the overall experience. The encouragement to make the audience stand up and dance was a bit "naff" and should have evolved naturally if the show had really grabbed our emotions. I do wish that people who sing along with the numbers knew the words and kept in tune and up with the rhythm. We still like Buddy Holly music anyway - but the real thing, sorry!

I was disapointed as I was expecting a Buddy Holly show not a tribute band. They didn't just do Buddy Holly either.
They were good and quite funny but I think when I paid for the tickets the information for this should have been a lot clearer.

This was a brilliant all singing & dancing show and that was just the audience. The group were terrific with a good selection of songs.

I fear it is a common fault today ~ the sound is seldom balanced and this concert suffered just the same. I wish I was a sound engineer.
The group tried hard and created a reasonable sound with lost of enegy, but the voices were drowned out. I don't know how good the voices were.

bought these tickets as a present for my partner. not into this music myself, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Great musicians and well entertained for the money. Met 2 of the band members after gig in a bar. had a good laugh with them. Only downside were the pianists trousers!!!!! Get em ironed!!!!!!!!!
