Favourite moment: Right at the very end when Danielz reminded us to "Keep a little Marc in your heart" - surely what it was all about. @
Setlist: The Groover, The Motivator, Debora, Sunken Rags, New York City, Dandy In The Underworld, Metal Guru, Life's A Gas, Born To Boogie, Summertime Blues, Ride A White Swan, Jeepster, Jupiter Liar, 20th Century Boy, One Inch Rock, Solid Gold Easy Action, Teenage Dream, Celebrate Summer, Children Of The Revolution, Telegram Sam, I Love To Boogie, Get It On , Hot Love. @
Opening act(s): No support act - show in 2 halves started and finished by T.Rextasy. @
I have seen T.Rextasy 4 times now but this was the first time I had seen them perform a proper "T.Rex" set - the other occasions were the Christmas specials with Mud and Slade where they performed a shortened set. In all honesty it completely exceeded my expectations.
Danielz is more like Marc Bolan than Marc Bolan, and it was very easy to forget that it wasn't really Marc performing in front of us. Great selection of songs and I especially enjoyed the inclusion of "The Motivator", "Sunken Rags" and "Jupiter Liar" as well as all the expected favourites. Will definitely go to see them again.
