I purchased these tickets for my Aunt and Uncle who are BIG Elvis fans. I was worried they would be disappointed but they loved it. My Aunt said that when she closed her eyes she actually thought Elvis was singing. They raved on the young Elvis who was from Wales. Apparently he looked and sounded like Elvis. The older Elvis didn't look like him but they thought he had a good voice. Their words to me the following day were "It was the best concert we have ever been to - thank you so much." I need not have worried.

Great value for money.The two Elvis's were excellent. They did not believe they were Elvis's. However ther great voices and obvious respect for there subject made for a fun evening. The band were a slight disappointment they could have been smarter in appearance but reasonable musicians.

A group of us went to see this show and thought it was great. The two elvis's portrayed elvis at different stages in his career brilliantly and the lead guitarist was excellent. Can't wait for the next concert.

Absolutely brilliant performance from all musicans, outstanding costumes and the two elvis were amazing. Can not wait for the next show !!!!! Defo recommend, must go and see!!!!

we've seen lots of elvis tributes and this was the best by far. there was a few false starts but it all added to the atmosphere. the two elvis's (or Elvi ?) were fantastic. the best selection of songs ive heard in an elvis show. the band were great and played very authentically. they had the crowd on their feet and girls screaming.i thought the costumes were absolutely fantastic even down to elvis in the matador type outfit he wore several times in the 60's. great attention to detail. the films were great and kept me entertained and in my seat iduring the interval. this is the nearest i will get to ever seeing elvis live in all stages of his career. we definately will go to see this again 10 out of 10 a must-show to see

My friends and I went along to this show thinking it was the great Lee Memphis King. What a shock we had when we discovered, although it was called Elvis On Tour (the name of Lee's show) it was these other Tribute artists. We didn't enjoy it at all, considered their voices were mediocre at best and no way was the show as professionally done as Lee Memphis King's is.
During the first half one of the singers came on stage looking more like a matador than Elvis.
We will not go again.

we have been to many Elvis tributes at the Hippodrome but this was not up to standard.
The screen that old film footage was on was ripped and creased.
The backing band looked scruffy as if they had made no effort at all.
The 1st 'Elvis' did come across as a true fan and gave a good tribute to the 'King' , but the 2nd guy obviously hadn't done his homework and just made a mockery of the whole thing.
We were very dissapointed.
We enjoyed the music as did everyone else there but we won't be coming again.

The 2 singers were very good as was the band but the backing singers didn't always sing in harmony, the sound wasn't always up to scratch and the bland background let them down. The 'screen' they used to show film clips of Elvis was badly creased so the film wasn't plain to see and the whole thing didn't have that 'polished' feel to it.

Great show, the 2 artists worked well together. Excellent standard all round. Musicians and backing singers also did a great job.

The start of the show seemed a bit disjointed, but when "Elvis" warmed up, show was entertaining and he had a very good voice.
Would recommend to see, good night out.

It was the first time I had seen these two men but boy were they believable. I really enjoyed the fact that they went through the years with the background images of Elvis himself. It was nice to be involved with the singing. The crowd were with them all the way, they deserved their standing ovation

i am a big elvis fan and i could not believe how great this show was , my husband went along with me and said had i have went on my own and came back saying how great this guy was he would never have believed me it was brilliant and we shall definately be goingto another one of his shows

Lee "Memphis" King pulled off another superb performance as the King. Close your eyes and he is very very authentic, open them and he gives a fantastic show with all the mannerisms and nuances of his idol. I will certainly book tickets to see him next time he comes to Whitley Bay.

lee memphis king was out of this world. he had his mannerisims down to a t, but it was his voice that made me feel elvis was truely in the building. my partner didnt want to come but said it was the best show he has ever been to and weve been to alot of events. for me it was the best night ever. there wasnt many people their, cant understand why, maybee it wasnt advertised well enough but it meant more elvis for me.
i will definately go see him everytime he is here. i would advise anyone to go even if you arnt a elvis fan, as its pure entertainment.
the backing singers on there own were brilliant and the musicians were fab and very funny.
i could go on and on. you will have to go yourself to truely know how fantastic it was!!!!!!!!!!

Elvis on Tour is a must see for all Elvis fans out there, a thoroughly enjoyable evening, from a person who not only has good audience banter, but is very funny and charasmatic and has elvis down to a tee! Me and my dad had a great time!

An absolutely fantastic performance. A great tribute to Elvis. In comparison to the Castle Douglas show with backing tapes, which was magnificent too, Southport show with backing band and singers made things more spectacular.

I have seen several Elvis impersonators over the years but but Lee was one of the best! Really good soundalike, not unlike Elvis in looks, and had the mannerisms down to a fine art. He worked really hard and the show consisted of many costume changes to represent Elvis at the different stages in his career. The only downside is that we had seats near the stage which meant that, as it is a raised stage at Southport, we were looking up and did not have a full view - in fact my mum moaned that she couldn't see Elvis' legs! Other than that, fantastic!

As soon as Lee walked on stage he was spell binding. He looked, talked and sang like Elvis so much. If you closed your eyes you truly believed you were listening the the real thing. His mannerism with the audience was exactly like Elvis, he would joke with the audience just like Elvis used to. The way he moved on stage and kept fiddling with his high collar can been seen in all Elvis concerts.
I can't wait to see him again.
