Very well organised parking facilities. Park and ride facilities. Buses very frequent. Friendly cheerful volunteers.

Great day out at the open, looking already to book tickets for next year, I'm a non golfer but love to watch live sport and the golf didn't disappoint.

went to watch on Sunday and expected to have variety of golf merchandise on sale, but only Ralph Lauren was clearly visible. There weren't much exciting sourvenirs as a result

Peter Alliss made reference during his BBC commentary that the R&A need to do somthing about the cost of F&B. £2.00 for a small bottle of water, £7.50 for fish & chips, £5 for two cornets with a flake ! he is absolutely right - The R&A should, and can do something about this. I took my son and with the price of the tickets, car parking etc cost me £230.
Now for the good stuff - the golf was great and to be up close and personal to the worlds best golfers is a treat. Watching them play some awesome shots and some not so good ones was a very enjoyable day. Felt for Scott after he'd played so well,McDowell & Woods will all feel as though 7 under was within their grasp but Els coming back in 32 deserved to win on the day.Overall a great day out !

I have never been to a golf event and so as a first timer I did not know what to expect. I was not disapointed the whole day was amazing. You can get so close to your heros that you could touch them (if you dont mind being arrested!!).

Entrance into the course was from very early. It was a wonderful day to see all the big names in the world of golf. It was made even better by been a hot summers day as you would expect in July. The marshals and staff on the course were all friendly.
Excellent day thoroughly enjoyed every minute can't wait for next years at Muirfield.

The public carparks were well signposted and well staffed throughout. The buses to the venue we good and there were lots of them available to transport people between the two car parks

There is no other sporting competition where you can see the worlds best players all playing on the same day! Being able to come within a few feet of the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy is something that will never be forgotten.

From ordering to the day itself, everything went off without a hitch & made my 10yr old son's day seeing as it was his first experience of the Open & one he will never forget.

Never been before to live Golf at this level. Thoroughly enjoyable! Great to see players close up. Very tense on Sunday and exciting on the Saturday. The ticket allows you the freedom to sit or stand where you want on the course within reason................this is the unique thing.

The itenary and tickets all arrived timely, the drive to public blue was well signpostes but alarmed when we discivered we had to pay another £15 to park 'n' ride.
The actual event was very well managed, getting around was easy, my daughters 21st and she thoroughly enjoyed her present, especially as we got so close to the players and being able to watch them drive of the tees, play the course and put the greens spo close was an experince she will not forget.
The end was a let down as we couldnt get close to the 18th green and when the rop came across Ernie never came over to our side only left and right for the viewing areas :(
