It was amazing I had the best day ever I was the first one to get there, the venu was comfortable and easy to get to, I was blown away by how close I was and even got called up on the stage, it was truly amazing and would for sure be going to see Paul McKenna again when he is in london.I came away super positive and inspired he is truly amazing and am now a fan. Can't wait till the next event.

Went not really expecting any effect, last stop before surgery!! However now that I am home I can not eat a full meal, and am not craving sweet stuff. I am naturally being drawn to 'healthy food' and more importantly i am enjoying it. Food taste better I am in control of food, and not thinking about it from the moment I open my eyes until the time I go to bed. In fact I hardly ever think about food except when I am hungry. I have not weighed myself since I got home, I used to be on the scales at LEAST twice per day, which could mean i was great to live with or it would be time for the family to go out(-:

The day was fantastic, due to the success his program had over a friend of mine. Five friends and I went to the event. Now just hoping to drop the pounds. :-)

A very knowledgeable man who could speak impressively from 10 to 6. Very impressed that Paul frequently spoke to individual members of the audience and yet still managed to hold the rest of us at the same time.
He had the ability to make you feel that he was speaking to you individually.

I attended Paul McKenna's weight loss eminar recently and I thought it was great. Good fun and very informative. I have come away from the event feeling very positive and enthusiastic. I would highly reccommend this seminar to anyone feeling that they need to get motivated to lose weight.

I must say that i went into the event a little worried that I had spent a lot of money on something that wouldn't work.
I was wrong, I laughed, cried and gasped throughout the day; i could feel the energy buzzing through the room. Everyone had their personal reason for wanting to be there but ultimately we all wanted to loose weight and not let food rule our lives!
Paul Mckenna is an amazing, kind and funny guy
I would do it again in a second

I went to this event sceptical but desperate to say the least, decided by the first break it was worth the money for the entertainment value alone! By the time the event ended I felt, 'blown away', I felt exhausted but for the first time in my life of, 'yoyo', dieting felt that someone from the diet industry knew what I have been fighting - the difference being that Paul (and his supporting assistants) have refreshing and radically different ideas from all the diet clubs (and I've tried most of them). Paul is empathic, considerate, thoughtful, caring, committed and funny and I do not feel it was, 'acting'. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of my life without the dieting yoke around my neck, I have already started to look at food in a different light, stopped beating myself up (ish!). I am looking forward and not back - and it is exciting! I would hope to attend this seminar again in the future because it was such an incredible experience. Thank you.

Although the session was long, it was great.
It was nice to actually meet him, he was very funny & polite.

I COMMEND PAUL FOR HIS STAND AGAINST THE DIET INDUSTRY AND THE GYMN. HE ADVOCATES MORE REGULAR EXCERCISE AND EATING SLOWLY. THE DAY ALSO FEATURED SELF ESTEEM AND METHODS OF SELF HYPNOSIS. HE HAD A TEAM OF ANALYSTS AND A DOCTOR IN THE ROOM - GOOD IDEA.
HOWEVER, ALTHOUGH OTHERS STOOD UP AND SAID THEIR EATING HABITS HAD BEEN CHANGED EVEN AS THEY HAD LUNCH - FOR ME IT DID NOT WORK. I AM NOW LISTENING TO THE cd'S GIVEN OUT AT THE SHOW HOPING THIS WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
MY ADVICE - GET THERE EARLY AND SIT NEAR THE FRONT

Spent the day with Paul Mckenna & friends at Earls Court Ibis. It was fab!
He speaks total sense, you just need to listen to what he says, really listen and believe!
He talks to the audience a fair bit, answering questions, getting those brave enough to participate!
All i shall say is i have a new catchphrase my husband is fed up of hearing.....
' I'm full, can't eat anymore ......it's Paul Mckenna's fault! '
great day! Love you Paul, you really helped!

To anyone that suffers with their weight there is hope - go to see Paul Mckenna listen to what he says and give it a try. I have used this approach (and it does work) but wanted to see the man in person and was not disappointed. Energetic, charasmatic and direct the day flew past and at the end I think we all left ready for action. Thank you to all involved as well as the Ibis Hotel for hosting.

This day was everything I hoped for. I had read his book and listened to the CD, but the day was just great. His energy and ability to motivate was amazing. I would recommend everyone who is sick of dieting to get your but in gear and book on the day..... well worth the money.......... which is a lot but are you worth it ?!!

I'll start with the bad points; there were not sufficient toilets for the 798 women and 2 men (numbers approx) and the area is bereft of anywhere decent to eat at lunchtime.
However, the good points outweigh this without doubt. Paul McKenna is inspiring and motivational. The hours whizz by with his witty and amusingly sarcastic delivery. One feels one is getting 'brainwashed' and that's the reason we are there.
I left the event feeling totally convinced that I will lose another 3 stone. Yes, ANOTHER because I went to this event in Jan 2009 and have lost 3 stone; I returned to get a 'boost' and I that's what I have got.
We were also 'treated' to free access for a month the McKenna on-line weight loss club, which I have been unable to access; hopefully just a glitch.
As part of the package we received a pack of CDs to cover every weight -losers needs which I hurriedly downloaded onto my Ipod and can't wait to relax to plus a journal to keep us on track.
An excellent event, if you have 25 pounds or more to lose I would wholly recommend the event.

Having never seen McKenna's hypnosis show back in the day, I realise I've missed out.
He surprised me by how passionate he is in his beliefs, but kept it balanced with humour (amazingly coarse on occassion) and well judged compassion when coping with emotional audience members.

I'd recommend this event. The value of it is in looking at why people overeat and simple things that can be changed to alter your eating behaviour. Also, he's a very funny compere.

I would thoroughly recommend Paul McKenna's event. The day was very interactive, with lots of useful tips, question & answer sessions and even some group hypnotism. Plus, you get a CD set and 90-day success diary for further motivation when you get home. You don't feel deprived because no foods are forbidden. I've already lost 5 pounds on this system and am looking forward to losing even more.
My only gripe was the venue. Not enough ladies' toilet and the hotel restaurant wanted £10 for an all you can eat buffet - at an event that teaches you to stop eating when you're full!!!

The seminar was first rate and excellent value for money. The only problem was the venue, with a tiresome lack of loos and dismal catering facilities.

I was very sceptical, but he is a great inspiration and as a hypnotist he has the advantage of having a good plan and getting his point straight to your head. You still need willpower and determination obviously, but if you still to his plan-im sure it will work
