What an amazing time we had at the Bournemouth Sevens Festival. The tournament was extremely well run, and the layout of the main arena perfect. The bands were awesome everyone wore fancy dress, the sport was great to watch and overall the whole weekend seemed to run perfectly.

We were a team of 14 girls and camped for the weekend, the party started on Friday night with entertainment in the campsite.

Great priced alcohol, fantastic music in both the beer tent and VIP.

We will definitely go back in 2011 and will pay extra for VVIP so we can watch the rugby in style and sip champagne!

Went for my friends hen weekend and we had a brillant time despite the horrible weather.
it was full of stag and hen parties and everyone was friendly and approachable.
Definitely go back again next time. :)

Having never been to the Bournemouth Sevens Festival but hearing so much about it from fellow students, we felt we just couldn’t miss out last year. We heard the Bournemouth Sevens Festival was great for an end of season tour, and they were right! We got 14 of our Uni netball girls together and had the most amazing weekend; the atmosphere was buzzing all the time; on and off the court. The tournament was perfectly run and when off the court there was so much entertainment to choose from; from the Nintendo Festival Stage, Carling Beer Tent, Parachute Displays to the Red Bull Players Lounge, the list goes on!
We camped and treated ourselves to VIP (definitely worth getting…especially for the Pitchside Jacuzzi over looking the main rugby pitch!)

Live music, alcohol, sport, fancy dress and being with your team mates; what more can you ask for! Were already booked for 2011!

The lads love this party weekend.

Bournemouth7s has everything, great rugby, great party tents, and lots of netball girls thrown in!

I watched the first year and have played every year since. With my team entered for this year, looking forward to another awesome weekend. Bournemouth Sevens are right on the money with all the entertainment, and the Friday night campsite party was a legendary welcome to the festival weekend!

I have been to the Bournemouth Sevens Festival the past two years and can honestly say it is the best weekend of the year! I didn't know an event like this existed, combining sport with a music festival! The bands on stage in the evenings are epic! I will be returning for the 2011 festival along with even more friends that want to share the Bournemouth 7s experience. I know some other people that have come down on Stag and Hen weekends! If you enjoy having fun, partying and socialising with like minded people then this is definitely a must attend event!

I would highly recommend this event! Great time had by all and lots of rugby to entertain!! It was the perfect way to spend a bank holiday weekend with the added bonus that you can do it on the cheap, so doesn't break the bank. I wouldn't recommend it for little ones after 6pm though, drunk rugby men should not be seen by children :) - But hilarious and free entertainment for the adults!

My husband & I have been to all 3 events at Bournemouth and think it is a brilliant weekend. Very well organised and this year the sound system and score board were a great improvement on the 1st year.
I cannot explain why but wherrever you go in the world there is never any trouble with rugby supporters it is all about the game and enjoying yourself, obviously the drink flows freely but without any aggression.
We decided to go VIP this year but felt apart from the marquee it was not worth the extra expense.

The weekend was full of fun, drink, laughter and a bit of netball! We danced the night away in the beer tent and at the gig area, ate ok food and made some amazing great new friends. The loo's were the downside, shower / toilet block would've been a million times better! 4 deep at the bar was made up for by the great music, fun people and great fancy dress! I'd recommend this weekend to any rugby / netballers up for a laugh and don't mind getting dirty!

Had such a fabulous time at Bournemouth 7's. The weather luckily cleared up so had a great time all round. Some very exciting games of rugby, nice campsite, great atmosphere and such fun entertainment in the evenings. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time.

Fantastic weekend of rugby 7's with superb entertainment both on and off the field. Get's better each year.

If only I had put on the sun block on Sunday morning!!! Doing a passable impersonation of a beetroot.
