The event was superb. What a great seat and had a good view of all the performers on stage. The programme was a good mix of well known tunes from Brassed Off and some not as well known but that made the overall programme interesting.

Cold, wintry Sunday afternoon at the seaside. On burst the band, with humour, professionalism and really good entertaining music. MacArthur Park a great favourite of mine, played excellently.

An excellent concert in an excellent venue. This band is a must iif you are interested in brass.

Lovely night out, Band played superbly. They were also punctual and concert didnot finish to late, which was appreciated as we had a fair way to travel home.Also programme was reasonably priced and contained an interesting historical account on how the band was formed, and its sucesss during its performance history, from performing in competitions in its local venue at Belle Vue in Manchester in 1918 to working with Peter Skellern in the 70,s to performing in Henry woods promenade concerts at the Albert Hall.
The conductor also inroduced the pieces which the band was to perform b giving the "story "behind the music which enabled your imagination to see a perfomance being acted out in your imagination.
