Location:Buxton - a short train ride to Manchester
Underground at the Soup Kitchen has got to be the most intimate venue in the whole of Manchester. The band were electric, the crowd of 60-odd were dancing and unfortunately the beer was piddley-pooh.
A great venue to see up-and-coming performers close-up and personal. Ben & Rosie marshalled their troops, Liam the rocky-guitar-scraper and the brass-girls through some funky-fun stuff that endeared them to the Man(chester)-kids in the manner of the Ting-Tings.
