The Congo All Stars, were very entertaining. Their rthyms were deep, soulful, colourful & harmonized beautifully. Each song was a story or adventure in itself. Their energy was vibrantly high with plenty of razzle dazzle, funky bass guitar, snapping drum kit & Congo infills. Constructive criticism is that there could have been more Congo (acapelo) infills bringing the Congo & drumming/ percussion into the play more. This would've done their name more justice as I was hoping to see, but not let down by what they did produce. Some less pelvic thrusting Also would've been appropriate if they could restrain themselves from it, note a bit less. I would reccomend to see them for a great night out if you like meditative spontaneous rhythms & modern African soul beats.
