Loved the golf, but it's a shame that it is so low key.
We only attended on the Friday, so it may have been different over the weekend. We arrived and straight from the car park were asked whether we wanted purchase a brochure - we didn't at that time, but as we walked to the venue we changed our minds but felt sure we'd be able to purchase later. We couldn't find anyone else selling brochures - but did manage, after about 2 hours, to purchase an order of play list when we bought a bacon and egg roll (from the lovely ladies at the snack stand near some later holes). Finally we had an idea of what was going on.
The signage at the event was virtually non-existent - we had difficulties finding the first tee and it took a while to find somebody to ask. Luckily, my partner has a good sense of direction and knew/remembered how to get back to the car park - but I would have thought that some signs would have been appropriate around the course to show people the way.
I expected more merchandise stands - prior to the event I was looking forward to coming home with some new golf shoes and sparkly ball markers etc. but nothing like that was on offer, which is a real opportunity lost - why were there no other sellers there??

Favourite moment: Finally being able to purchase an order of play list. I was also pleased to watch Laura Davies chip in from a very awkward lie near a tree. @
