We had been looking forward to this Billy Fury Tribute band for ages , we read the reviews online and really thought Micheal King would be fantastic.
We were fairly disappointed by the whole act really - although his musicians were excellent, Micheal King was average, un-polished and his clothing was scruffy, especially his trousers and shoes.

Michael King has an amazing voice that does credit to the Billy Fury memory. His backing group were a complement to the evening with excellent musical ability.
As a whole they knew exactly what the audience expected and delivered!

Went to see the Billy Fury years at the opera house in Blackpool last Wednesday an unforgettable evening .Michael king was sensational as the late great Billy Fury I have seen the other shows out there and they don t come anyway near this one Catch it if you can you won t be dissapointed .

Having been a Billy fan forever and very sensitive in how his legacy is portrayed, I have to say 'The Billy Fury Years' is without doubt the best Billy Fury show i've ever seen.
Michael King who plays Billy is obviously a true fan and also blessed with such a wonderful voice.
I was at the opening night and judging by the standing ovation at the end of the night, i was not alone in my thinking.
Great songs...great show.... already booked to go again!!.....

Very disappointed ,seen The Billy Fury Story many times and expected similar show .
No fluidity to the show ,ok it was the opening night and suppose it could get better as the show progresses ,but Iwon`t be spending my well earned money on it again
