Best time ever, Olly Murs was brill got the croud up and having a party :))) The Rizzle kicks were brill best warm up act iv ever seen really got you ready for Olly.
Venue was well organised grate place for an event like this. Only one moan had our umbrella taken off us but loads of people had theres so the security surches were not spot on ://

Good atmosphere!! Amazing performers
Not allowed to take opened drinks in which i didnt know when i opened it in the que and then got told to put it in bin but it wasnt too expensive inside on the stalls

Health and safety nazi's attempt to ruin day!

Opening act(s): A lot of new, some not so good artists. Tich was good- Cover Drive awful. A.M.E was also awful.
Rizzle Kicks were great- shame they didnt stay till end to do collaboration with Olly! @

So no bags, small rucksacks or anything that would make carrying weather gear easy- especially as the weather threatened to chuck it down.
No food- hundreds of people had bought pic nics.
And apparently no one on the staff team able to make a sign or use a radio to get the message to people as they walked back and forward with bags for coats and pic-nic hampers from the gate to the car park!
No water either allowed in- only sealed 300ml bottles- that's smaller than a coke can. Bang out of order! And against human rights, health and safety and common sense!
At one point, there was an attempt to stop people running to the loo between acts- a physical barrier of light blue health and safety nazi's! I heard the guy, a total jobs worth!!! I don't want any running cos... Blah blah bleet bleet!
Olly Murs was good fun though- not my thing but the 6 year old girl I took had an excellent day out!

The venue was fab,
the Gig was fab..

easy to get to

Great value for money...

i just wish there had been more information available regarding not taking bags / umberella's into Quex Park as i'd taken the time to make a picnic and brought brollies for the rain and i had to walk back to the car with it all :-(

Bar queues were around one and a half hours and food was very bad. Bands were ok though, Space were good!

Sound was poor, two bars!!!! Just two!!! queues lasted up to an hour and a half. The bands tried hard, but the crowd was sober and fed up.

The bar situation was amateurish, but this could have been rescued if the bands had not been let down by poor sound. I love all the bands playing and would see them elsewhere, however Quex has developed a reputation for the above. Such a shame with such a great line up.
