We had a nice time at this event, the kids enjoyed collecting stamps and the got an Andrex puppy. And iced cakes with their picture on the icing. Tried lots of little snacks and got to see a lovely finale with Micky mouse and friends :)

Travelled from South Wales to attend what we thought would be an amazing opportunity to celebrate the jubilee and were very disappointed.
A big area within hyde park with few stalls/tents giving away small samples of food that we had to queue for ages to recieve - not particularly amazing.
Another area cornered off for VIPs, were we not all important?
Two stages, one with music from Disney - not quite the concert billed.
Travelled 150 miles, spent over £100 on tickets, transport & food etc. wasn't worth it.

This event was somewhat disorganised - after queueing for 45 mins (even though we had tickets), people were being let in at the gates ahead of us. Staff inside the park seemed unsure of giving information about timing of events, location of programmes and we could see some security staff still being briefed when we arrived at 11.30. Also the acts on various stages did not keep to the programmed timetable.
However, the Commonwealth stage acts were mostly excellent and the Strictly Come Dancing show was fun. It was difficult to get close enough to see the War Horse puppets. The Parade Ground events were very good.
We had bought picnic hampers from Carluccio's fortunately since we heard afterwards that people had to queue for ages to get food.
On the whole, it was good value for money and perhaps any future such events would be better organised.

The event was a complete scam, there was no information from the stewards about bringing drink into the arena. So we had our bottle of champagne confiscated, told we were in the wrong que after queing for two hours !
Then the Arena was not teared so that people could see what was being displayed !! The drink stalls charged a fortune for all the drinks, so it was an un-afordable day out for the family !! Complete waist of time

This was a shear waste of my well earned cash as there was no provision made for the great British weather. There was a 2 hour wait for the Disney tent, which closed at 4pm when the rain descended. Who wants to wait 2 hours with the kids of 5 years old.
I have been to better free events with my family and friends and I will be complaining to Sainsburys about it.

unfortuantely it rained all day so we only arrived in the afternoon for a brief dry period. We went to Bob the Builder show which was really well done by the staff at Butlins. The set-up looked fantastic and there was obviously lots to do Ibut unfortunately the rain come so we left again. On saying that I would definately go to another event of this nature.

the event of the day was fun day out as family and go to each stall . the was some nice thing to see and for son who was 2 year old was having fun and runing round everywhere. one thing that we dislike was that we has to wait very long in the line to see the event of the stall.

This event had very little to do with the jubilee and more a about sainburys selling there products and thoughs of there suppliers ... It was overly commercial and as a family we felt very distant from the festives that were happening in London .

My main complaint relates to the Kidzone. Despite the lack of general information available, we managed to find out that to watch a show in the Kidzone we had to join an exceptionally long queue. After waiting in line for over an hour we were able to watch a show that lasted 15 minutes. We were told that if we wanted to watch another show we had to queue again. My children are 1 and 3. It was not easy to keep them entertained in the line the first time around. Needless to say, we did not queue again. Furthermore queuing did not guarantee entry to a particular show. It was a matter of pot luck. What was worse was that there seemed to be no other child focused activities for the children other than the Kidzone. The parade sounded a lovely idea, but in my opinion started too late.

Billed as an event for children. Absolutely no thought was given to their interests. You had to queue for everything, for hours, which children hate!!!! No entertainment laid on for massive queues. Only able to see one 'character' due to excessive queueing. Only 4 ice cream vans for thousands of people, yes, more queues....however the enormously long bar frontage was empty....children don't imbibe! Outrageous waste of money in my opinion. Will never attend a similar event again.

Determined to make the most of the day and not be beaten by the weather, we attended the day. it was fun in spite of everything but certainly was NOT value for money. Contingency plans should have been made knowing the weather forecast with more inside activities for the under 5's particularly and more seating for picnics. Some kind of voucher or balloon or free gift would have brought some joy when leaving early. Better luck next year.

The Kid zone and the Disney world should have been open stages with repeated performances just like the Coommonwealth, the Main and the Green Village stage rather than queuing to see something in a tent.

It seemed to be something to really look forward too.. Best day for sunshine (Saturday), picnic arranged, kids v excited, no public transport issues forecast.
What spoilt it was the lack of site rules displayed in advance (not bottles or cans allowed in and everyone was searched), and the over-subscribed numbers permitted to enter. Hence the huge queues for every stand - the disney tent queue was 1 hour 45 mins in length.. This is with children and no queueing system in place - chaos!
The kids stage was far too small for the numbers - just ask the poor security staff!

Really well organised event, good areas to shelter from the rain. The stamp hunt kept the children busy. Disappointed that none of the headline acts were playing at the weekend ie Rizzle Kicks or The Wanted despite being advertised

The biggest waste of time and money. If you like queuing then this is for you. My 3 year old asked to leave after 1.5hrs as he was bored.
Supposed to be a family event, there were 2 main attractions for kids these were tents. 1 had a queue for at least an hour & half and the other ( Butlins tent) had the rudest staff and the most disgusting organisation.
A very big disappointment. My friends 18 month old had the best idea ....... Sleep!! He didn't miss a thing!

Long queues, boring performances and in fact didn't get in to most tents. The best show was punch and judy which the kids watched twice because the queues were too long for other tents. The food was overpriced and luckily carluccio's was doing a nice promotion of a picnic hamper outside of the event in hyde park. Sainsbury's definitely let us down.

The jubile family festival in hyde park w as wonderful there was plenty of activity for adult and kids especialy the warhorse and meeting the people that move the horse words can not describe it u need to wacth it yourself.
