So surprisingly good,

The whole musical is fantastic the main singer to start with, Emi Wokoma, has got an amazing voice different from Tina Turner's but even more elaborate in some regards in my own opinion, amazing dancers and what a live band!

Also the whole stage play and dialogs although telling a rather sad story are full of humour and on top of that the stage direction is amazing no dead times, transitions are done using sliding panels behind which the actor walk to get onto and out of the stage.

REally I was surprised, my girlfriend and myself are no big Tina fans but seriously the quality of the whole musical and personally I would say really the crazy good performance of Emi Wokoma as Tina is just unforgettable.

Got this "wow" feeling on some songs where the music is good that you get back quivering, and just think that you're the most lucky person to be in that concert hall just right now ;-)

So really you don't need to be a fan of Tina just like soul music a bit and look for an amazing quality and innovative musical, that's for you !!!

Thanks so much to all the crew for giving us such a good moment! if only we could all pretend just like you to give other such a special time!!!

Absolutely fantastic. The singing, the dancing and storyline expertly performed. V. surprised to see the theatre not full. Would recommend without hesitation. We would have gladly sat/danced through more.

I have never enjoyed a show as much as Soul Sister it was unforgettable the cast new just how to get the crowd clapping.

It was a great evening from start to finish. The star who played Tina Turner was fabulous with so much energy and a great voice. The music was a fabulous reminder of an amazing lady.
The only disappointment was the empty seats in the theatre. People missed a fantastic show. Hope they get the opportunity to see it.

I was expecting great things from this show but was left feeling a bit disappointed. The lead role was played by a gorgeous girl but her voice was too soft to resemble Tina....and Ike was far too small in height to resemble the real Ike so I pretty much felt like I was watching a show about someone else not Ike & Tina. Just felt it lacked authenticity and the staging was pretty basic.

This show was really good, everyone got up to dance at the end and sung along all the way through, great actors who had worked so hard to portray their parts well. Would go to see it again!

i went to see soul sister at the newcastle tyne theatre with my dad on the 1st december 2012 on the day which was also my grans 1st annavrisery as my gran just passed away last year me and my dad had great seats which was 5 rows from the front and the show was amazing and i cant wait to see soul sister the next time it comes back to the north east anytime soon

I go to the theatre on a regular basis and have recently seen several very good performances, however, this one has to be up there with the very best! The whole cast threw there all into every song and routine and the energy continued to the very end. The live band too must get a mention, they were terrific. A great show from beginning to end and a wonderful night out.

The story for the show is done very well & the two main stars (Tina & Ike) are played by two excellent & talented artists. Would definitely recommend this show to anyone thinking of going.

Oh my god. What a show. Started with private dancer sitting on a chair finishing with the best. And for any die hard Tina fan she was simply the best.

From song to song the lead didn't disappoint. Leg movements to voice was amazing. Well worth seeing

excellent evening of entertainment. The Actress playing Tina has an oustanding voice but the whole cast played, sang or danced with enthusiasm throughout. The audience were on their feet long before the end. I would recomend this show to anyone.
