Athletics meeting in Birmingham are wonderful, exciting and truly friendly.
It is a priviledge to see so many young people, our future, so absorbed and attentive.
The way the organisers run these events is a credit to all concerned. The events flow like clockwork.
I have spoken to many people about my experiences at Birmingham meetings and many have visited for the first time. They all say how much more they enjoyed both the action and also the facilities.

Excellent in many ways .
The biggest drawback is the car parking . It was total chaos on leaving. Marshals just shirked their duties. No decision making.

Great action on the Saturday and Sunday. Being in the Knowles Stand - pleased to find this was covered. Good to have the large screen as when athletes had gone past this gave good view of finishing straight.
Seats rather uncomfortable (certainly must have been in place before the advent of the fuller figures of today).
Is it really necessary to have the loud music bursting out whenever there is a pause in the track program or commentary.? I was wondering how Holly Bleasdale could manage to concentrate on her vaults.
More clarity on the availability of car parking would have been helpful. I got the train on Saturday as I was not sure how much parking there was. Found it was more than ample so took the car on Sunday.

Easy to find venue, tho no signs from the Motorway, very well organised parking both on arrival and when leaving, great seats, good viewing of live action and on two big screens.Never a dull moment lots of action sometimes almost too much!

The whole family, 7 of us, aged 8 - 75 had a very enjoyable day. Car parking was cheap, £5 and near to the venue so the oldies managed the walk no problems. Although we had to wait some time before the main events got going, it was still enjoyable to watch 'different' Olympic sports and a dad's race. Gave us a great opportunity to watch some athletics before the London Olympics.

Excellent event inside the stadium and the support of the crowd paid dividends. Very disappointed that the stewards were a bit "jobs worth" with the young fans. Commentary and announcements "first class" except when they clashed with the music/fanfares.

Very much spur of the moment decision to go, never been before, went with a six year old child, surprised how much you could see from anywhere in the stadium and non stop action, very impressed to be right by the pole-vault and see Holly Bleasdale's British record and also Sharah Proctor. Pleasantly surprised by the choice of food concessions and well spaced out by the two main entrances

Event was excellent. Seats good.
Refreshments very expensive.
Parking was £5 on a field & the most dis-organised I have ever known in my life, 2 hours to get off!
People who parked in nearby streets/roads got nasty "do not park here" stickers on windscreen that wouldn't come off- put there by residents!

We had a great evening watching the trials. The sprints were fab and Mo was in great form performing the "Mo-Bot" on the finishing straight. The 10,000m was a masterclass of sheer ability - fantastic. And we had the pleasure of athetes in the stand near us - the kids loved it!

Thr Birmingham's Aviva's athletes was great. The atmosphere was really good in the stadium, with great seats to see the action. The booking and seating area was really smooth and praise ticketmaster for this.
Overall really good and want to go see more in the future.

The day and the organisation were superb. The packed stadium and a tremendous atmosphere was a backdrop to a great days athletics. There was a good range of food outlets and things for the children. The commentary assisted those who possibly did not recognise the "stars" and made the day the more enjoyable by giving just the right amount of background to each event. A really enjoyable days athletics with several memorable moments. The only downside was the jam of traffic when trying to leave at the end, the staff battled gamely but had no chance against those whose patience threshold was so low as to be virtually zero.
