Yep only two words could really descibe this event ... Absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was electric, the stadium was easy to get to - though parking was not clearly defined. The fans were really behind the teams and the college entertainment was brilliant. There was no pushing or shoving, no hassle at the bar or the food sellars. It was truly a family event. Just hope that this event, with another two teams will be run next year.

Having wanted to watch an NCAA game for years, I resigned myself to the fact that it may never happen as our season in the UK coincides with the US. So, to have a season opener played 45 minutes flying time away was just too good to be missed. I have never wanted to see a Wembley NFL game, as I imagined it would be just a British stadium with a Pro Sports event going on. I imagined a BCS game would be different - I was not disappointed!
The pre amble, the tradition and spirit of Navy, the history and sheer size of the Notre Dame team and the speed of the action was unbelievable, we were right next to the ND band and, despite supporting Navy and the blowout score against us, it was an awe inspiring experience. My wife and 7 year old boy were besotted by the whole enveloping experience of it, as was I - that was the real feature for me. to hold a 7 year old child and totally disinterested wife captive for close to 4 hours is testament to the way the amateur sport differs from the cold, cynical pro game. It is filled with Joy and admiration for these kids who put their life on the line play in and play out for the honour of their school or academy.

What a day and what a game. Great atmosphere and a wonderful day it was. Well worth the money to see two great College teams play along with the tradition that is Navy v Notre Dame. Will probably never go and see another College game so this was my one chance. Went with 3 friends, 2 who knew nothing about the game but they also thought it was brilliant.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, and really put the NFL games to shame. Seemed like the whole of South Bend had made the trip, which made for a great weekend.

A great venue,a great spectacle,a great crowd and a great display from Notre Dame Marching Band and United States Navy Band and the performance of both teams. I have travelled to many countries to watch sporting events and this was perhaps the most sporting of events both in team performance and the support of the spectators. I would recommend this event to my friends
