The play dealt with some tricky subject material. It mad me laugh & cry, it made me happy & sad. It was emotionally draining but excellent. To top it off, Sharon Gless's performance was outstanding.

The best peice of theatre I have seen in ages it was like a good book that you didn't want to finish. It was very funny and very moving all the performances were great and the supporting actors very versatile and what can I say about Sharon Gless she was superb.

The whole experience was a pleasure. Sharon Gless, her cast, stage crew and script were a credit. I was disappointed when both the interval and final curtain fell.

I took my best friend Nitty for her Xmas present. We both remember Cagney and Lacey and loved it, so it was partly nostalgia that led to us going. We had great seats on the front row of the stalls - v. reasonable prices for the West End. We absolutely loved the show. Sharon Gless was brilliant and the storyline was just up our street. A great evening out. WH

I went with 5 friends (all very different) and we all loved the play. One minute laughing out loud, the next, silent in anticipation. Whole cast were great, and it was a real treat to see Gless on top form and using the audience! All I can say is don't be late arriving! If you can still get tickets for tonight or tomorrow - I would say "Go!"

I went to see A Round Heeled Woman with a girlfriend, as I had read and enjoyed the book by Jane Juska. The stage version lived up to my expectations, and Miss Gless was excellent as the leading lady. There were actually more males in the audience than I expected. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Fantastic show, all the cast were excellent. Sharon was superb and portrayed her character in such a way that the audience were taken on a rollercoaster of emotions. This, balanced with great humour and an amazing talent for comic timing, made the show a truly enjoyable evening.

The whole cast was marvellous, playing numerous roles, each so different and yet not a single flaw. Great timing and keen characterisations.
Sharon Gless lived the character, she was relaxed and seemed to talk to every member of the audience, it was that personal. She portrayed the character with knowing empathy and, despite the subject matter being somewhat intimate, she maintained poise and a wicked sense of humour throughout. I had never realised that she had such brilliant comic timing.
The whole experience left me with a renewed desire to do what I want, when I want before time runs out. I defy any middle-aged + person, who has had the good fortune to see this play, to say that it didn't ring true and reminded them that life is for living.
I can't wait for Sharon Gless to return to this country .... and soon!!

I left with a warm feeling . Sharon Gless was outstanding and the acting was innovative and daring. Book had been well adapted and the play ws equally enjoyable. Not for the faint harded or prudish but if you enjoy life you will enjoy this.

Did not enjoy the storyline much although the actors were pretty versatile.
A little contrived and we got very tired of the "mono theme" of sex which had no other elements to add to the depth of the story.
Too long by at least 20 + minutes.
We are going back to the British farce !

We travelled all the way from Dorset to see this play, on the account that I read the original book by Jane Juska years ago. I loved the book and I loved the BBC Radio 4 play and I loved the 2011 stage play as much! Sharon Gless's interpretation is touching, funny and classy. One to see in 2012!
