I had bought tickets to this event as an early Christmas treat for my mum and then later for my uncle and his partner. We arrived at Lord's not knowing exactly what to expect but had an incredible day. It was incredible to taste so many different wines, and as a complete beginner, to learn so much from the exhibitors was great. I didn't feel at all out of place or pressurized into buying (although I did) and cannot wait for the next event. The experts were incredibly friendly and I even had a mini masterclass from Tim on South African wines!

What was so good about the Three Wine Men, apart from being able to taste hundreds of wines, was the fact that Oz Clarke, Olly Smith and Tim Atkin were wandering around the whole time and taking to people about wine, about tasting and just helping to create a great atmosphere around wine. It was the most unstuffy wine event I've been to and I highly recommend it to anyone whether you're an expert or a complete beginner.
