Favourite moment: Basement jaxx were class at the end, as was rob da bank n shepdog. Staff walking round taking photos and the scenes really added to the atmosphere. @

To say I was disappointed is a massive understatement. What was originally promised wasn't delivered at all. The line up had 'Basement Jaxx' headlining. Cool I thought as I had never seen them live before. However when we got to the venue we found that it was just a DJ set!!! It could've been anyone up there!!! The Jolly Boys were good in their own way & Ms Dynamite I think she was on for 20 mins??? For entertainment value it was pretty poor and that's being kind!!!
The crowd were about as pretentious as you could get & the so called 'Jamaican' vibe within Alexandra Palace was as close to a Jamaican vibe as I am to the moon!!! Where was the lovely Jamaican cuisine that was supposed to be there?
And the whole Facebook thing that was going on? You couldn't sit down for 5 minutes without some dolly bird sticking a camera in your face.
Overall - totally over priced for what you get - I will not be spending my hard earned monies on this event again!!!

This Night was brilliant, so much to see and do! With constant updates to your facebook page of all the stuff you were doing and pictures you were taking!
Assasin and Ms Dynamite shutdown the stage aswell!

If i had known before hand, it was hard to tell it was a Jamaican night. Just felt like an ordinary night in a very big hall! The facebook tags were a nice touch but were excessive and the comments you gave us were cringe.

I am a 55 year old male, I first went to a Smirnoff event in 2000 when I went to Glastonbury and the Smirnoff tent was their. The tent was brilliant - two floors - many bars - ice rink / dance area - many events - air conditioning.
That event was 'outta this world' - Smirnoff made the tent really cold and then served hot Smirnoff drinks - or - they made the tent (it was huge) hot and served really cold Smirnoff drinks - I still have mine in a drawer somewhere. We were made to feel really welcome and very special.
If i had never been to a Smirnoff event before I might have been mildly impressed - the welcome was good, the parking was good, security was good. All of the rest was a shambles - so much so we left the gig early and drove home - it was such a shambles my brother was even able to tell me that some of the headliners only appeared for 10 mins.
If Smirnoff would like to discuss with me my reasons for this review being as it is - A TRUTHFULL APPRAISAL - I will be happy to discuss this with them - they seem to have lost something - where were the satalite links to the other parties - where was the taste of Jamaica other than in the drinks? where were the 'living statues' - where were the juggling acts and other artists that make an event really special ?

The concert was very good, lots going on and the best part is it was nicely busy not ridiculously busy like events tend to be, i would recommend this event and will try and get tickets should the event happen again next year!

Awful is how I'd describe it. The venue was far too big for the attendance. The cocktails were watery because there was so much ice in them - impossible to get drunk.
Very uncreative entertainment - some pretty poor singers and nothing else.

Music was really good but otherwise this night was lame. Half empty all night even though it was sold out apparently. And apart from some trees and some Jamaican food it was hardly bringing Jamaica to London. Massive let down

Music was terrible. The vibe of the place was nothing like last year. It felt like they made no effort at all. I'm really disappointed cos last time was the best night I've ever had! I feel they could have done a lot more.
