Having been to two previous fireworks displays at Hopetoun House both of which were wonderful, I was really looking forward to this year's. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. After nightmare journey to get into the venue - not helped by some very incompetent stewarding - we were treated to barely 15 minutes of fireworks. The fireworks were lovely - but the display lasted a fraction of the time of previous fireworks events - which had each lasted a good 30 - 40 minutes. We were stunned by the brevity of the display - so much so that when after a very short time suddenly the fireworks stopped and people started to leave we had to go and check that indeed it was over. We will not be going back.

Great night & Fireworks were FANTASTIC. Third best i have ever seen after Disney World Florida, then Edinburgh Castle at Hogmany.
DJ was very annoying and far too loud, but kids enjoyed it.
Being November and Scotland you obviously need to prepair for bad weather.
The cold and wait was well worth it, the display to music was brilliant and we have some amazing photos from the night.
The grounds and house are beautiful and even better when lit up at night.
Warning queues can be lengthy, so take food, especially a hot flask or if your not driving your hip flask.

Paid £8 for 20mins of fireworks and to be deafened by RealRadio annoying DJ, cold feet and bored for 2.5 hours.
Had to wait in seriously long queue to get my tickets and car park madness.
Sorry rather do my own fireworks or go to Meadowbank.
Nice venue but the event was rubbish.
