Insightful, witty, and a true gentleman. That was what you got from Rafa Benitez, and the man showed his class.
He gave what everyone in the audience turned up for, just how he came up with a plan to win a European Cup final from 3-0 down, his quarrels with those inside Anfield during the latter years of his tenure, and a few funny stories along the way.
Rafa was on good form and said a lot more than many would have expected, and showed why he is loved by Liverpool fans, and showed why he loves Liverpool: The club, fans and the city.
You could have listened to his tacitcal brain and stories for ever. Money well spent, and for a good cause.

The atmosphere at An Audience with Rafa Benitez was amazing. It can only be compared with a match at Anfield. Considering he is the ex manager, the affection between Rafa and the Liverpool people is fantastic. You could feel the affection between him and the audience which he and his wife obviously share as they are living here and raising money for local charities. The only complaint was that it started 20 mins late. My whole family was there and we would go again tomorrow.

Rafa may not be english but he is certainly an 'adopted scoucer' he has a great sense of humour and was so entertaining.
His standing ovation both before and after were well deserved and credit were credit is due, Steve the Sports presenter from Radio City was so professional but easy to listen to, great job and a thoroughly entertaining night with all monies going to Rafa and his wife's charities.
