for my third time seeing this band live, again they haven't disappointed :D, colours to shame started off with a perfect in your face set to kick off the night, even with the absence of their lead singer DSHS still rocked creating a mesmerizing and chilled atmosphere, but once again sylosis ruled above all, regardless of the fact they had a small set they still showed off exactly what they can do, kicking off the night with 'out from below' simply one of the best moments from any gig i have been to so far :D

Small venue but we got to meet the band afterwards! Sylosis are an amazingly talented group of musicians who do lots of small venues because they like to interact more with fans XD Its great!
Josh is one sexy talented man :)

the event was informative and it amazing to watch Josh Middleton and Alex Bailey play so tightly together. Josh and Bailey were also interviewed and asked questions about how they first got into metal music, how they work on songs, etc.

It was good that the audience was also allowed to ask questions as personally, it helped me learn a new scale (the E Phrygian Dominant scale) which is the same scale Sylosis use in a lot of their solos.

Overall it was a great event and it inspired me as a guitarist, so i recommend it to other guitarists too.

The start was late and the band seemed tired but things really picked up when they picked up their guitars. To see how a player actually crafts his sounds up close and personal was fascinating and I would love to see more.

This was very nearly almost 5 stars, however after the performance at Sonisphere, it is clear that the band's sound is much more appreciated with larger crowds. Do not let this detract however, Sylosis' performance was outstanding, after years of working their way up the long, hard chain that is the world of metal, they have truly placed themselves firmly on the map as one, if not Britain's best metal band. The band have really come a long way, and it's not just their music that's stunning, but the accuracy that it is portrayed live is done with such intensity that it would leave any metalhead drooling for more. The bottom line is: If Sylosis are playing in your town, do NOT miss out!

This band are insane, being the 3rd time seeing them they still are one of the best metal; bands around. Josh's guitar work is the best i've seen live and every track they played sounded so crisp. They did have a few glitches with the microphone not working but that didn't shadow over the greatness of this bands performance. Amazing gig!!
