Having followed Hoodie Allen from his early beginnings with a few hundred fans, I have enjoyed his progression to where he is at now & was delighted to see he was coming to Scotland to play a gig in his first ever overseas tour.
The set list was made up of songs from Pep Rally, Leap Year & his most recent release, the itunes number 1 album All American. On top of that he threw in a Spice Girls -Wannabe cover seeing as he was in the UK.
The energy from his performance was exceptional, the backing live band were great & he had the crowd hanging off his every word.
People who follow Hoodie will have noticed how much time he devotes on social network sites by responding to his fans & his gigs are no different where after each show he comes out & meets/takes photos with every fan who stays behind which is a nice touch.
When he returns in the near future I couldn't recommend going to see his show any more, especially these small intimate venues right now before he does blow up into the superstar I expect him too where he will be doing the massive shows.
