Hopetoun House Horse Trials was a great weekend of all things horsey. The trade stands were tempting for the shopper, the food stands offered a variety of local fayre and the sun stayed out.
The cross country course was designed by the reknowned Ian Stark and looked like a great course to ride. The most noteable fences were the one right in front of the house, which lent itself to some great photo opportunities and of course the water complex, where horses splashed through to jump models of the Forth road and rail bridges.
All in all it was a great day out and it was great to see top riders coming to this new Scottish event.
