This was he best performance I have seen by Gary Clark Jr. No support band, he was on stage for 2 hrs. A great set of songs backed by a terrific band.

Was really looking forward to seeing Gary Clark Jr live and he did not disappoint.
This guy has got to be the best guitarist I've ever seen live. Mixing it up with some Blues covers and some psychedelic rock. He is a real talent.
It's such a shame so many concert goers these days would rather spend the evening chatting with their mates than listening to the act they've supposedly come to see.

First time I have seen him live. Some of the best guitar playing I have seen for years!!

An absolute steal at £10 per ticket. One of the most exciting new breed of blues players out there at present, in an intimate venue - what more can you ask for?
Great band and great performance from the main man, just a little let down by the sound man. Guitar and vocals were a little quiet at times compared to the rest of the band.
Overall a great night.

Great gig, strong opening act (unfortunately I didn't catch her name). Gary played for nearly an hour and a half before being cheered back on for an encore, where he started off with just his drummer and his resonator. He played his big tunes, 'Don't owe you a thang', Bright Lights' 'Ain't Messin Round' - sound was a bit muddy and Gary could have been a bit louder or brighter in the mix - apart from that through - a solid gig.

Stonkingly great gig in excellent venue. Astonishing guitar playing - both from Gary himself and from Jessie Rose as support. My mate (who is a blues singer) and I both stood slack jawed in wonder at the guitar pyrotechniques. And he can sing too - both straight blues and falsetto soul jazz vibe. But who does he want to be? Hendrix? One of the Kings? Stevie Ray Vaughan? Chuck Berry... ? He can play like them all. Warmly recommended. One of my gigs of the year so far.
And look out for Jessie Rose - the voice of Amy/Duffty with the guitar chops to match!

Incredible guitar player and singer.
The band were red hot too.

The only downside was the ineptitude of the sound guy.
Totally ruined to whole gig.
Bass guitar and Bass drum was way, way, way too loud.
Couldn't hear the vocals or Gary's guitar very well.

Also was a bit put off by the music eminating from the bar area during and in between songs.
Come back Gary but please choose a better venue or bring your own sound guy.

Best live guitarist I've ever seen - goes from soulful to psychedelic to shred and back again in the space of 16 bars. Fantastic singer too - like Curtis in a blender with Stevie and Jimi. His studio stuff doesn't even touch the live performance - see him now!
