Performances aside the venue was not suitable. The floor seating which I expected to offer excellent viewing did not live up to expectations. I was sat in the 10th row and could not see! My 5 year old son certainly could not. Most of the people seated in this area moved to the upper levels after the first performance. Dancing is best viewed from tiered seating and I would suggest that any future World Championship should be in a venue where the audience can see. The performances of the dancers were excellent, great entertainment. Circus was a worthy winner, the Maguires had brilliant dancers and Louis Walsh was the funniest moment of the night (who knew he could dance), the opener Finnigans Bar was excellent and I thought they deserved 2nd, but I'm no judge. The commisions awards and long pauses between dances spoiled the evening however and I think the dance drama should be about dancers and not the commision.
