Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this gig,have seen the band several times with both Michael and JD and JD is getting better and better.INXS should keep him as the permanent lead singer as he does a fantastic job.

Was great that there was a festival for Aussie's, Kiwi's & Saffa's with music from those combined countries. INXS were great, so were the others, the festival was not overcroweded and the perfect size and ticket prices were very reasonable. A great day out and the sun managed to shine most of the day with just the one typical London rain shower...

Great day out if you get a good deal on tickets but don't think it was worth £40 a ticket.
Some of the timings for the good bands clashed e.g. Jayson Norris and Shihad playing at the same time??
Could have done with more stalls selling different stuff. There were 4 stalls selling the same things, hats and sunnies!
Good move having the free stuff to play on. Created a lot of fun and competitiveness!
Would have been good to have the SANZA stall there too.
Overall a good day out if you can get a good deal on tickets

I went to this concert with my 12 year old rock guitarist son. We both enjoyed all of the 4 bands that we watched which were Goldfish, Melic, Shihad and INXS. Goldfish were a great dance group with very good tunes. Melic were quite funky at times with lots of saxophone which is one of my favourite instruments. Shihad were very professional and really got the crowd going. We had never heard of Shihad or Melic but would definitely see them both again. My son particularly liked the Shihad style of rock. I have liked INXS for around 20 years ever since I first heard ' Devil Inside' and would definitely see them again. They were tight, entertaining, passionate and wholly professional. I would definitely recommended any of these bands.

On the downside I thought that £5 for a cheap lanyard with some waterproof concert itinerary tags attached was a rip-off. Us fans have already paid a fair deal of cash to see these bands and a free A5 flyer with the itinerary would not go amiss and would not steal an extra fiver off any fans. £5 is nearly an hour on minimum wage.

The facilities were excellent and the choice of food was brilliant. Don't think I will have Ostrich again though! I think I will try Springbok if I get the chance :)

When INXS came on it was fantastic. The lads looked great, fresh and ready to ROCK!!!

The first few songs were great and JD is so good for the band. He really needs to be a permanent member! not a guest vocalist!

Then things went downhill rapidly!

I first listened to the revamped version of don't change a couple of years ago and thought it was a nice alternative to the original. Then the other classics were being destroyed by this softly softly approach. This is NOT INXS! I can imagine Michael looking down and shaking his head in disbelief! If INXS want to do new material then they should write new stuff, it really is as simple as that!

Please don't get me wrong. I love INXS and have done for the last 25 years. My first concert was INXS in a pub in Birmingham and its been love since then but to see what they have become when they could have been so much more leaves me hollow and fearful for their future. Most people who liked the revamped stuff are probably new fans or too pissed to realise how bad it really was!

I would see them again but only at a proper venue not a festival.

The audience were a major let down. They had been drinking since early afternoon and 90% of them were so drunk all they were interested in was taking photo's of each other or singing drinking songs!

Shihad were great, great energy from the frontman and really made the day. INXS were poor in there lineup choice. JD Fortune's voice was surprisingly Hutchens like, however the acoustic and female versions of great INXS songs ruined it for me.

I love INXS with their - hopefully now permanent - new frontman J D Fortune. He can belt out the old classics with the same deep/rich and sultry tones as the legendary Michael Hutchence but gives them an interesting and exciting new turn with the tracks from Switch. It was a shame they only featured one track from this excellent album.

Would love to see more of JD on all the promo material for the remainder of this tour - his name and image were sadly lacking from the Clapham Common event - he deserves more credit.

I've seen INXS once with Michael and this was my 3rd time with JD and hope for many more.

Sorry but the other guest vocalist - Froam - wasn't for me

INXS were great live. They played their old songs and it was great. I loved being able to dance around to their songs. It was great to hear an Aussie band in London. I was not impressed with some of the new changes, but then I loved the old style band.

Festival was great, set up well, pity about the weather. INXS were great, JD Fortune was amazing but I dont know about those woman they had singing - they were rubbish. Wish INXS could of played for longer as a 9pm finish was a bit rubbish.

Weather clearly didn't help, but overall i think this event was ok. its well organised, door & bathroom went smooth. a larger choice of beers & cider would be nice tho.
