Well............after visiting this event for the last 16 years I must admit that it was a bit of a let down.
I can understand the Derby being changed from the Sunday to the Saturday but the timing is all wrong. Would be interested to the attendance figures and whether they have improved from the previous year.
Lets get back to a first race time of around 2:10 (like Sunday) and the class of Racing needs to be improved big time.........over the years the excitement has disappeared and although I have much admiration for the Ballydoyle and Coolmore team and what they have done for racing, on the other hand it is spoiling the great event that the Derby used to be.
