Having seen WU LYF at their first ever London show not 4 months before this, i knew to expect outstanding things from the band. They put on such a show that they have the audience in the palms of their hands. And willingly, as most of the audience are true WU LYF fans having pledged their allegiance to the bro's via their website and wore their bandanas with pride. The initial notes of new song - Dirt, brought uproars and frenzy from the crowd by the stage to which an explosion of bodies rioted to Ellery Roberts croons of "no matter what they say, dollar is not your friend". The mood heightened with chants echoing through the village underground of his demands; 'World Unite & i'll Love You Forever" leaving feelings of ambition and revolution in the already buzzing crowd. After briefly leaving the stage to come back to do banger, 'Heavy pop' crowd members were cross diving off stage creating liberation as people were freely passed above the crowds head to unite us all. A further encore was created with the band bringing on earlier support act 'Family' all who were topless and bandana clad banging drums as if a call to war was demanded. The Neon cross in the centre of the stage glowed as the band belted out their song WE BRO'S with members on the crowd hopping up on stage to be part of the mass calling. This later errupted to a mass stage invasion which led to over half the venue being on stage with the band, hugging and chanting as if they'd always been there. Although wires were pulled out and the music was distant, it did not stop the band from putting on an absolutely blinding show. Definitely one which you should have been at.
