Had a brilliant day out at the Birmingham Grand Prix. We were disappointed not to get tickets for the Olympics but this made up for it in every way. Saw amazing upcoming and current athletes. The atmosphere was brilliant.

We decided to go to the Aviva Grand Prix after watching the Olympics and thoroughly enjoyed it. The event was so well organised with so many different events going on and it was great to see some of the Olympic athletes so soon after the games. We especially enjoyed seeing Mo Farah in the ,ast race of the day. We were seated in the back straight stand and the facilities were excellent. All this for £20, what a great day out.

Enjoyed the event and the atmoshere created by the crowd, which the athletes responded to. The only downside was the 90 minute wait to get out of the designated car park.

I booked 4 tickets for this event not long before it sold out.

Was tightly packed with one race after another. A must for all sport lovers!

I would highly recommend this event as it's a bargain compared to what you would normally pay for a sports event such as football. You are guaranteed a fantastic experience!

The quality of the athletes and the competition could not be questioned. For Ohorugu and Farah to run made the games great for British fans.
However it's a litle upsetting that the HMRC can stop Usain BOLT and 'The Beast' from performing in the UK - their earnings would be derisory once this beast has got hold of them.
Being able to book the exact tickets you wanted was a brilliant feature which has proved a big failing for Crystal Palace.
Aviva must change their 'premium seat giveaway'. It's announced at the beginning how many places there are in the VIP area so anyone who's booked a diferent number of tickets needn't even bother standing up.
One massive distraction came whilst trying to follow 3 field events at once, this was impossible. I would suggest2 at one time maximum.
Taken, as a whole, I enjoyed it.

First time that I attended an athletics event and found it a really enjoyable afternoon. Only downside was the queue of traffic from the motorway all the way to the car park. This added an extra hour to our journey time so aim to arriveat least two hours before the event starts. Once we arrived at the car park everything was well organised with plenty of things going on around thestadium. A very enjoyable afternoon for friends and families.

Great afternoon of athletics, enjoyed by the whole family. Lots of olympians to watch, with a variety of track and field events. The stadium was easy to find, marshalls very helpful, seats with good views.
This was our first trip to an athletics meeting, thoroughly enjoyed and will be buying tickets for next year.

This was our first visit to an athletics meeting. We were very impressed by how well organised the event was- so much going on all the time that the time flew by. Lots of big names and a sell out crowd so soon after the olympics which might not be typical. The kids were so excited to see Tyson Gay, and of course Mo Farah. Aviva had some great free activities outside the stadium- timed sprinting etc. We also took our own picnic so all in all it was a very enjoyable, relatively cheap day out. Getting there was really easy too- well organised car parking- almost no queueing. Fab!

An absolutely brilliasnt event featuring 43 medal winners from London's Olympic Games and other World class Athletes. So many events it was hard to keep track! Events included: Women's 100 metres heats and final, Women's 400m and 400m hurdles, Women's Pole Vault, Shot Put, Javelin, Triple Jump. Men's 200 metres, Long Jump, High Jump, Steeplechase, 400 metres, 3000 metres, and more.

I traveled from London, a drive of over 125 miles and it was well worth it. I would go to similar events at the Alexander Stadium anytime!!!!!

Great coverage of an event that was simultaneously shown live on TV.

Team GB medal winners at the Olympic Games (Christine Ohoruogu, Greg Rutherford, Mo Farah and Robbie Grabarz) had agreed to run a lap of honour with local kids at the end of the event which was absolute magic.

Other stars there included Carmelita Jeter, Shelly-AnnFraser Pryce, Angelo Taylor, Aries Merritt, Adam Gemili. Christian Malcolm, and a gret rematch between the Olympic Gold and Silver Women's Pole Vault medal winners: Jenn Suhr from the USA and Cuba's Yarisly Silva.

This is a venue with great atmosphere, Ultimate Athletes and a wave of appreciation from the crowd that you can feel refelected back by the Sports Stars themselves.

Just brilliant!

The atmosphere was electric, the quality of the competition was amazing with many Olympic champions and medalists present and the support and good will in the stadium was awe inspiring. A real family event with people of all ages in the audience
We shouted, clapped and cheered our hearts out for 3 hours. I have been to many British Athletics events over many years and they never fail to provide a quality event. Value for money every time.

Athletics at Alexander Stadium were absolutely fantastic. Great events/athletes, well organised, loads of additional facilities and activities for all the family.

All in all a fantastic family day out. Even the parking was well organised with no problems.
Will be going again next year!!

We had a great time at the athletics. There were some top athletes there and some of them weren't even in the programme. what a bonus.! It was the first time that we had been to the alexander stadium and we were impressed by the ease of parking. there were plenty of food stalls and the seating was good with plenty of room. all in all a good experience.

Had a fabulous day at the Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix, enjoyed seeing our medal winners from London 2012 and watching the great quality athletics. The women sprinters were just phenomenal and it was a treat to see all three 100m medalists from London.
Our seat were close to the long jump area so we saw the brilliant Greg Rutherford in close up. The other jumpers were all international class from the UK, USA etc and were just great to watch so closely.
After the disappointment of missing out on Olympic tickets for athletics events it was great to be able to see such quality athletes in the UK again.
After watching the 2012 Trial at the same venue this event seemed to finish the summer off nicely as we saw athletes qualify in June and come back with medals in August - perfect!
