The supporting act was a singer called Langhorn Slim with his band "The Law". They were a really good act, inkeeping with the style of the Lumineers- and being upbeat and enthusiastic about the performance- raising the atmosphere of the crowd.
There was a 45-minute break between this and he main act, where there was only meant to be a 15 minute one. This was frustrating as the performance was a standing one and the crowd became tried and bored waiting for an extra half hour.
This wait however did not in anyway spoil the performance, thankfully. When the Lumineers came on stage, the crowd had such admiration for them and their music, as they made the gig feel intimate and they really appreciated the crowd.
Their songs were amazing and for their most popular hit, "Ho Hey" they ventured into the audience to share the experience with us. During this, the main singer was barely audible over the deafening singing of the crowd which made the performance feel like a collusive effort. There was a surprise amid the songs as the group had recently, whilst touring , created a song, untitled and unreleased, which they performed to us which made the crowd feel privileged and appreciated. Also this song was sung by the Cellist who rarely sings solo, but had a great voice.
The sound quality was amazing and the final song was brilliant. The band made the night amazing, and i would definitely see them again as well as their support, Langhorn Slim.
