Have seen Stewart Lee a few times on telly, so thought he would be good...... He wasn't good, he was GREAT !! Really funny. Love his sarcasm. Would deffo go to see him again, & have told friends, so they are up for going to see him in the future... A fantastic gig.

Once again Stew delivered a great performance. Although giving the impression that the show didn't have structure it was (as usual) cleverly put together.
A proportion of the people who came along purely because of his recent accolades were initially bewildered but this just added to the magic for his long standing fans.

Well deserved of his recent award (although he pretends to resent it!), Stew delivered a well thought out, clever set even though he's had no chance to gather much material!
Very funny from start to finish.

For people who need to be more intellectually stimulated, Mr Lee offers the audience a lesson in quality 'stand up'. Fed up of the usual drivel (see Michael McIntyre' s guest list of comedians on a Saturday night) it was nice to see a real master at work. Truely the king of deconstructive comedy!

Stewart was on form as always, but it should be pointed out that Simon did the first half and Stewart did the second. Both are excellent. Simon was billed as the warm up act which I thought was a bit unfair.

As ever, a great performer who's honed his craft for over 20 years. Funny as well as thought provoking, but needs to work on his guitar tuning (!)
Took along a couple of friends who hadn't seen him before. Both enjoyed it, but admitted after a great intro, the momentum fell away as the show progressed. Sad to say one fell asleep near the end, but this was *probably* due to pre-show whiskey consumption.
I loved it, but my friends weren't convinced.

We're major fans of Stewart Lee's stand-up and regard him as the best in the country. Whilst we still had a great night at 'Vegetable Stew', we did think the set had a slight feel of 'work in progress' about it. Having said that, we still took away some brilliant and inciteful comedy moments and would go see Stew again in a second.

A great show, Stewart Lee was hilarious and seemed a little more natural than he does on TV. Had great seats 5 rows from the front, and his support was brilliant too.
