what a superb night!!! my husband and i are in our 40's but leftfield are our absolute favourites and could not be missed. The venue was awesome and we did not feel out of place at all with such a diverse age range. We partied til 5 in the morning and felt like teenagers again :-). It was so worth it and would do it all over again! LEFTFIELD were priceless and their support acts were amazing! 50 thousand stars of greatness thankyou

Even though the music is from a time when I was young (now being 40) this band still manages to stay young, the music will never die, it is just to unique and harmonious while at the same time remaining to be as pounding and rhythmic as a beating thunder storm.
I have seen Leftfield 3 times now, once back in the 90's at the Manchester Academy and I always remember the gig as being amazing back then, it is funny that while little has changed they, Leftfield, remain above the rest, excellent job to all of you.

The other acts who all helped towards the event were also good, at no point was I thinking that they were just filler, a perfect event in all ways... and we love the venue.

'Phat planet' is probably the best live song EVER, and I have been going to gigs for over 30 years! The appearance of the godfather of hip hop 'Afrika Bambaataa' just added to what was a brilliant night and was well worth the four hour journey back to Brighton

They say you can tell a lot about a person from their friends - and the same is true about a band from their fellow acts and their audience!! From every perspective Leftfield were awesome, truly, truly awesome. Their music and delivery has lost none of its edge or power over your senses. Their friends both onstage with them and through the evening supported, built on and echoed the positive vibes coming back from the audience and collectively we had the best time ever! When you are still smiling 2 days after a gig, you know it was THAT good! Booka Shade are worth a strong mention too. Next year though guys - Open Up please, just for us all!!
Big up too for O2 Brixton Academy, they could not have been more accomodating when I turned up having hurt my knee. Thanks guys!!

I wasn't really sure what to expect, as I hadn't seen Leftfield live before, and it had been rather a while since they were in the studio. However, the show was awesome - most of the tracks from Leftism cropped up (together with some of the vocalists from the album), but with new elements added in, which really made it fresh. I just hope that Leftfield either go back to the studio or release a live album as, based on this event, I'd be up for a definite purchase.

I've waited 15 years to see them again and they certainly did not dissapoint. Living in the Manchester area I had hoped to see them in June and November but was out of the country on both occasions, drove down to Bristol to the O2 Academy - what a perfect venue for such an intense gig. I hope they return in 2011.

What can i say, after they have been away from the scene for a little while, they have not lost any of there power on the beat front. Leftfield are true pioneers of dance and have been for many years. I would experience there set every day if my brain could take it. Absolutley awesome.

I had never seen a live dance set before,other than DJ sets in clubs; so I did not know what to expect from the Leftfield gig. From the 1st thumping base lines and pulsating light display, the hairs on my neck stood up and that feeling pretty much lasted the whole gig. The sound system was amazing and the accompanying light show was well thought out and created a great atmosphere. The crowd was a mixed bunch; full of chilled out hippies and happy dance kids,with the odd smattering of poe faced couples (dance music is for dancing people!). The venue (Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom) was the best in the world for live music as usual! Over all a great night with good vibes and lots of sweaty, smiling, happy, dancing peeps!

I took my friend as a surprise for her 40th Birthday and it was amazing not stop 2 hours of pure genius.
I lost my bracelet over the balcony while madly dancing i was distraught as this was my 40th birthday present, at the end of the concert i went searching franticly on the floor downsatirs and found it what a brilliant end to a brilliant night !!!

That's the fourth time I've seen Leftfield now. After a slightly disappointing gig in the summer at the Manchester Academy due to the system I felt compelled to go again to relive the gig 10 years ago... My word am I glad I did. The system rocked it and the set they played was everything you wanted! Awesome music played brilliantly and with a base system that had the building shaking to it's foundations! Thank you again!!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Leftfield in a live set, having waited 15 years to see them. I was completely blown away by the show and absolutely stunned by the quality of their performance. I went with someone who didn't know much of their work and they said it was one of the best gigs they'd ever been to. Highlights were too many to name but I'd urge anyone to go along to see them. Awesome. I want to go again for another 2 hours of bliss.
