The event was unorganised. It didnt start on time, it felt like we were rushed, a member of staff admitted he just wanted it finished quickly so he could go home to his family. I will never be attending another event organised them again.

I found the event quite exhausting, because only 7 males turned up at the marriage event, where it was supposedly to be a ratio of 50:50.
I had to wait in a long queue for an hour,
i was in fact looking for a partner over 40 yrs but 98% where under 40 yrs. I was not happy at all.
i spent the whole day going to the marriage event, didn't have time for other things like listening to the nasheeds etc.
there were mostly charity stalls down stairs with a fair ground for kids. it looked like people were begging for pennies. I found it quiet embarrassing because every step I took somebody would ask me for "any change". It reminded me of Pakistan.
I got the train after a absent of 23 yrs, after this event i got back to the train station but got on the wrong train which i then ended up paying 42 pounds more.
I sort of blocked this event out of my head, didn't accomplish anything what a waste of journey.

It was a good event to be introduced to a number of people but the organisers unfortunately either couldn't cope with the numbers or were not best organised (I think the first one was probably the one that applies). We didn't get around to all the groups so not everyone was introduced to everyone else in the groups. Secondly, the numbers that I noted down to meet again were not available during the "take things further" stage. This stage was very ad-hoc and quickly deteriorated in to chaos with a first come first serve plan being implemented. Chairs were sort of being moved around randomly and introductions in the group sessions were very short.
The organisers seemed unsure of how we could follow-up after the event. I have emailed them requesting profiles of the sisters I am interested in but there has been no response (the sisters have probably been "taken" anyway after the chaos of the end of the event). They may have been interested in other brothers and vice versa but I will never know now. I don't have any hope of the organisers getting back to me with any positive news if they get back to me at all.
