An incredible night. Well worth travelling all the way from Edinburgh to see.

Hopefully next time he will visit Edinburgh and I won't have to go so far.

Last saw him at Bloodstock in 2011 and was hooked.

This is the most disappointed I've ever been in attending a gig. I'd been so looking forward to this gig. I knew that it was highly unlikely that Anneke Van Giersberg would be there, but thought they might have hired someone else on the basis that so much of their later stuff has a female vocalist. So, a bit disappointed on that front. More importantly, though, was firstly, the awfulness of the sound quality, and secondly, the technical equipment that kept on resulting on songs being abandoned part way through. The sound quality was just a blare of white noise with a drum beat. Don't know if it was the venue that was at fault, or the mixing desk. I stood near to the mixing desk so if the guy there thought he was getting the desired sound, then I'm obviously going to the wrong gigs.

Got into the venue a little late TesseracT had already played a song or two, little annoyed about that but was my own fault. TesseracT put on a great show they're a very talented band and their performance was really good. Fear Factory were the main support band, I've never really been a fan of Fear Factory and I must say yes, they did put on a good performance but admittedly I personally think they're a studio band, just didn't get a good vibe when they performed live, didn't really get me going the way TesseracT or Devin did. And finally the main headliner: Devin Townsend Project, from start to finish they were absolutely amazing, Devin's pre-show video clip mash-up was absolutely brilliant, as usual he showed Ziltoid the Omniscient, obviously he played a fair few songs from Epicloud the latest DTP album, but definitely mixed in some older tunes which were great, truly a great showman, banter with the crowd was hilarious and definitely lightened the mood of everyone there.

It was a privilege to be up close and personal with such a massive talent

Great gig, and a decent venue. DTP were excellent again; this was the second time I've seen them. The entertaining geek videos beforehand are always fun, and who said puppets weren't metal? Ziltoid is the most metal guy I know.
Fear Factory need to pack up and go home. They've lost all that once made them a great band.

This is a brilliant venue, never been before but the layout was great, no queue at the bar, seats available. The sound quality went off a bit when fear factory was on. Devin Townsend was brilliant! very unexpected as we went to see Fear factory who were awesome. Overall had a really good time

This is the second time seeing Devin Townsend after first seeing him at Download this year. He is a brilliant entertainer and from beginning to end the concert was fantstic. Loved the fact that he involved the audience and seemed to love every minute of stage. Made better by the fact that the venue was quite small so you don't miss everything. He is a legend!

Giving 5 stars only because Fear Factory. Playing new and old songs, making perfect show, that is how concert should look like.

Tesseract=Asseract. No questions about it.

And Devin should start play music what he played with Strapping Young Lad. This what he is playing now is absolutely nonsense.

By far the enjoyable and entertaining gig I've ever been to (and I've been to a fair few). I was laughing and smiling ear-to-ear throughout the set, such is Devin's energy and enthusiasm even at the tail-end of his tour. He announced that he was running at about 40% of his brain capacity - if that's the case I'd love to see him at 100%!

We got a great variety of songs including favourites from Epicloud, Infinity, Deconstruction, Terria, Ziltoid the Omnicient and Addicted. Devin obviously loves being onstage and has great respect for his fans. Instrumental pieces were flawless from The Project as a whole, and the solo from "Deep Peace" was amazing. The combination of heavy songs and humour (causing headbanging and laughing) is one not to be missed

Whilst the stage crew were removing Fear Factory's gear and setting up DTP's stuff we were treated to a projected show: zTV. This included lots of strange clips from the internet and TV as chosen by Ziltoid himself, who starred in some of them. This kept everyone laughing right up to the point when Devin sprang onstage. This is the first time I've been thoroughly entertained even before the band gets onstage, a great use of downtime that I wish more bands would take note of.

Even after getting two dead-legs from standing still for four hours we left the venue with big grins to accompany our cowboy walks. If you get the opportunity to see The Devin Townsend Project, do it hu-mans, you won't regret it... indeed. Now, where's my coffee...

Devin Townsend was fantastic, amazing entertainer.

Unfortunately Fear Factory left a lot to be desired - Burton C. Bell seems to have lost the ability to sing clean vocals and sounded like a karaoke singer (maybe he had a cold?!). Also, they didn't play anything from Archetype, which is personally my favourite album. Can understand this though as it's one of the albums which Dino wasn't involved in.

The show is what i exspected from good old devin. Fantastic, funny, and tight. Nothing went wrong the setlist was brilliant and the way he involved the crowd was perfect, funny as always. EVERYONE SHOULD SEE DEVIN ONCE IN THEIR LIVES!!

it was the most moving, emotional gig i have ever been to. the setting was amazing - and was the perfect venue for what was one of the most memorable events of my life. devin was absolutely brilliant as was the entire band. unforgettable. truly unforgettable.

It opened with a support band (Shining) who meshed fairly technical black metal with fusion jazz, whose final track involved at least six false endings. Devin's set started with a video announcement from Ziltoid The Omniscient, announcing his candidacy for the 2012 US election, and proceeded to be a surprisingly excellent live rendition of the Deconstruction album (which is no mean feat, considering the complexity of some of the songs), culminating with a 5-foot-wide cheeseburger descending on the stage. It wrapped up with a couple of old SYL songs (Fake Punk was one, I forget the other two) and was, in all, an excellent gig.
