The polo was amazing and the seats gave a great view. I would recommend the event to non equestrian people, as the event's atmosphere and commentary make for a very enjoyable evening.
The Argentinean wine tasting was good. Just a shame that everybody was squeezed into what seemed a very small space given all the room available.
Bajofondo helped to put everybody in the mood!

Great fun to see polo in the centre of London. 2 good matches; Argentina deserved to win even though I am British! Food in the O2 was average and obviously pricey. All in all a great night out.

I had never been to a polo match of any description before so was unsure what to expect. The arena was far from full but the atmosphere was great. The riders and ponies are all very talented and if really was exciting to watch. It was unfortunate that the lighting crew were on a tea break at the time they should have been following the winning England team around the arena with the spotlight!!

As a polo virgin, this was a perfect introduction to an exciting and fast-paced sport. The results of the two international matches being played out were far from predictable and, no matter which team you supported, you would have been on the edge of your seat until the final klaxon sounded.
The skill of the riders and the incredible implacability of the horses involved in this amazing sport is to be admired, even by spectators who have never been on a horse in their lives.
There was a party atmosphere throughout the event, heightened by the Argentinian band playing during the breaks.
If you enjoy speed, skill, fun and horses, you could not choose a better event to go and watch.

As polo first-timers, this was a good introduction to the sport. The commentary helped know what was going on as those ponies are FAST! There was good spectator participation and the England-Argentina match made for exciting watching. All in all, a very good evening!

Disappointing! Couldn't believe I paid £40 for 2 people to enter a room with music that was too loud....we couldn't talk to each other, or to any staff without shouting, even when trying to make a purchase at the polo clothing stand. The clothing stand should have been outside the After Party since you could not access it at any other time and had to pay to get to it. It would have been nice to have a complimentary drink(s) for the £20 ticket ; have attended many after parties and always received more than this for the price.
The time on the ticket received 2 days before the event was 45min later than what the program said --another disappointment! And there were no in-out priveleges once left the game to go to the shop.

We knew nothing about polo, but it sounded interesting, so we went along. The O2 turned out to be an excellent venue for a great view of the pitch. The games were really fast and exciting, especially England vs Argentina.

An evening of great fun both in terms of the polo itself, which depsite the smaller field of play nevertheless was large enough to allow the riders and their ponies to show off their skills, and seemed to ensure close matches and also the excellent wine tasting beforehand which really showcased some delicious wines. Even the hot dog was tasty!!

A bit different from the first year but still excellent. We did miss the interactive element where the audience got the chance to mount a polo pony and have a go at hitting a ball. The first year we also enjoyed the exciting build up and the humour attached to the celebrity match. However Bajofondo were equally if not more amazing. I have even now bought their album after seeing them for the first time at the event. However it would have been good to see them a bit clearer rather than have them tucked away but it was great entertainment between matches. One of the commentators repeated the first years brilliant piece of humour and teaching while commenting on the action. Fantastic interaction via Twitter as well. The entertainment without the actual polo deserves 5 stars itself but the Polo as always is exceptional. The skill still amazes me, the passion and compeition between all teams competing brings excitement, humour and entertainment . Cannot wait for next year. Hopefully Bajofondo will return along with some of the extras of the first year. Gaucho International Polo is AMAZING. Thank you.
