It is always nice to see bands that you haven't seen for a couple of years, to see how they have developed musically and if they still have that fuel which caught your interest to begin with.
In this case Sabaton were certainly on form as the headline act of the evening. After a lineup change earlier in the year they have plouged through and are sounding as tight as ever. They gave the fans in attendance an option of songs to play throughout their set and played new material from the latest album too. We even had a rendition of YMCA!
Eluvietie were epic as always, one of the pinnacle Folk Metal groups out their due to all the traditional Finnish folk instruments used in their performance. This was another band that I hadn't seen for a good number of years and they certainly were as enjoyable as any other time I saw.
Up and coming Wisdom were really good too, I expect to see plenty more of these in the next few years, their album "Judas" is certainly worth picking up!

I quite liked Wisdom, but the people I went with weren't that impressed. I thought that they were a good, solid opening band.
Eluveitie started well, and then my attention just wandered. As well as unimpressive vocals it seemed was a bit of a musical mish mash.
Sabaton I like very much live. The lights and pyrotechnics were brilliant, but I felt that the sound balance wasn't quite correct. The drums seemed overmiked and Joakim didn't seem loud enough. They are also definitely missing a keyboard player for that special 'Sabaton' sound. This was still a good gig.

Wisdom was really Good. Eluveitie gave a show to remember if there was no Sabaton they would be the star of the show. But Joakim and company was at their finest hour as usual. Absolutely Epic concert.

This gig was absolutely fantastic!!!!! They really played their hearts out. The crowd was amazing, never seen anything like it. Pure dedication on both sides.
Bottomline anytime again!!!!!!!!!

One of the best gigs I've ever seen!!! Haven;t seen so much fun and energy for ages!!!
The sound was ok, nothing to jump up and down about - but Sabaton really played their butts off...
Fantastic song choices, brilliant stage performance and a lot of fun from both bands - but especially Sabaton... I saw them live for the very forst time and wasn't really expecting to be THAT good... Thanks, guys, for a wonderful evening...

Frakkin Amazing, i've been trying to see them for the last year and a half so it was well worth it, i'd do it again in a heart beat.

Another really amazing gig by Sabaton with a great mix of news songs as well as old favourites. Good fun and great humour from the guys. New band line up but really polished performance.

all three bands were amazing, wisdom started it off really well and got people going quickly, very talented band! Eluveitie came on and sent the place mental! One of my fave live bands! their musical talents and vocals really create and amazing sound and atmophere. Then... well it went nuts! sabaton came on and were truly amazing and insane! the phrases 'it started back in the 70's with ABBA' 'next it was IKEA.... thats where we store the tanks' spring to mind! music was amazing! RECOMMENDED TO ALL METAL LOVERS!! WELL WORTH IT!

Wisdom were good meat and two veg metal, Eluveitie were OK until the singer 'sang' but the folk and metal seemed thrown together rather than melded, certainly in a live setting, but then came the mighty Swedish Pagan War Machine that is Sabaton. Great show, great vibe; putting aside any argument over musicality it is certain that there is more bonhomie and interplay between the new line-up compared to the very static (though very skilful) Montelius and Sunden. Anyway - just great. Some old, some new and if Carolus Rex and Lion from the No-o-o-orth aren't bona fide metal classics, I'm a Viking's uncle. Where else could you get 100 minutes of Grade A power metal, a bit of Village People and the chance to sing in Latin... "Augusta per Angusta" and all that... TOP!

Great band. I have seen them many times live now, once in their home town in Sweden and I cannot wait to see them again. Every song strikes the heart and mind with meaning and there is no doubt that while you are jumping to the music you will learn some history from their lyrics. These lads know how to entertain, see them \m/

What can I say, this is my third time seeing SABATON (once supporting Dragonforce & at Sonisphere 2010) every time I see them they get better and better live. Touring there latest album “Coat of Arms” this band are a non-stop metal machine hell bent on world domination, The band hit the stage after the fading sounds of Europe’s “The Final Countdown” and launch into awesome rendition of “Ghost Division”. Newer songs from "COAT OF ARMS" go down well, with "Uprising", "Aces in Exile" and the rather sombre mood of "The Final Solution" fitting in perfectly with their now considered classic work from previous albums. "Cliffs of Gallipoli" has a godly stomp to it that merges into the ferocity of "40:1". These guys are the happiest bunch of fellows I’ve seen grace a stage in a long time. Much like at Sonisphere, they play with eternal smiles and are just so happy to be playing to the sold out Ballroom tonight.
