Beauty & the Beast was very good family entertainment. From 6 to 60, there was something for everyone. The show was true to the film. The special effects where the beast changed to the prince where a let down. There were lots of flashing lights and there was no warning of flashing lights for people with photosensitivity (people with epilepsy).

I was unimpressed at the start. The props and scenes looked cheap and the actor who played the part of the Beast seemed too short to achieve the necessary physical menace of the part. Fortunately, by the second half these initial concerns were dispelled because of the performances by 'Lumiere' [not sure of the spelling] and Gaston, and also by the singing from the Beast, along with Belle, so that by the end, I had thoroughly enjoyed the show, and thus would recommend such a pleasant evening of entertainment to friends.

A totally brilliant production from start to finish. The cast, scenery /costumes were all excellent. My daughter was spellbound throughout. I would definately recommend this show and will be on the lookout for BLOC'S next production

A very interesting show, well produced and acted. Notably the Teapot Lady and Leading Lady gave the best performances with regard to actually being able to hear and understand the words beng sung

although we arrived rather late due to traffic problems it did not ruin it for us. the scenes and the acting were of a very high standard and in places was rather spectacular.

I thought the production was really good, incorperating the favourite songs from the disney classic as well as their own. The cast played their parts well as well as incorperating humour and fun into the experience.
This is a must see production and wouldn't hsitate to see it again, and recommend it to friends!

The show was of an excellent standard. Very disappointed that I wasn't able to buy a programme for the show. Apparently not enough were made. The singing was excellent, the person who played Belle had an amazing voice.

My two daughters so enjoyed the show, they loved the music and the lovely cosumes. My 4 year old daughter asked if she could go to the evening performance as well!

all performances were excellent with only a few production problems showing on the night,
The role of gaston was filled brilliantly and made for a loveable villan and the same can be said for belle lumier and lafoo all great on the night.
one slight niggle was the great performance given by beast let down by the actor being the shortest member of the cast which was slightly comical as he was described in the scenes as a huge monster almost 10 feet tall,

We usually come to see the Panto's so this was our first at seeing a play/show. The singing and acting superb, not really suitable for very young children, they tended to ruin the show for everyone else as they were crying and talking throughout, too much singing for them, would recommend to everyone.

An unforgetable performance by the Bristol Light Orchestra. Extremely impressive considering that this was 'amateur dramtics'- it cam across as very professional. The actors playing Belle and Gaston were brilliant and stand-out. The fantastic Alex Milner as Lumiere stole the show with his excellent comic timing, delivery, singing and dancing. A must-see for all disney fans. My one criticism was that there were couple of songs which could have been cut out, as some of the children became a bit restless. However, well worth a watch.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the production and performances. It was a real treat to see something so good outside of London. Will definitely return to watch other performances by this group!

I love the Disney film so I was really looking forward to seeing this and it did'nt disappoint!!! It was so cleaver how they put the play together and dressed everyone up to look like the characters.
I would recommend this to anyone a great play to watch - exellent!!!

Every aspect of this would be impressive even if it wasn't an amateur production. The sets were better than many professional one's I've seen from the moving balcony to the fireworks and the costumes were fantastic too. All the singing was great and the men who played Gaston and Lumiere made the show by being so funny! The beast really tugged at my heartstrings too when he was being all unsure of himself. It kept my 4 year old daughter's attention pretty much the whole way through. Very pleased we went to see this, thank you.

I can only say that this show was so good, it was like watching a professional show. Outstanding vocal performances from Belle and Beast, not forgetting Gaston and Mrs Potts. Great comedy performances from Lumiere and Lefou. Overall, an outstanding performance from a supremely talented cast. Thank you BLOC. My guests all thought exxactly the same(we are part of a small panto group called "The Ecumaniacs"). Will keep an eye out for the next show.
