How any New Order Tribute cannot play True faith or Blue Monday is beyond me but they didn't. I admit I am no died hard fan of New Order but expected those to be played. That aside, the mix sounded awful from upstairs.
The Smyths on the other hand sounds brilliant. Again not a huge Smiths fan and my hubby doesn't like them (he went for New Order) but he changed his mind and now likes the Smiths. The sound was fab, the guitarists were amazing (and I don't normally like guitarists), but the lead singer did it for me, the who performance he gave was top notch. I doubt Morrisey could have done it better.

Didn't have any expectation of either band before they came on and had an open mind. Re order are talented but it didn't really feel like a great performance. The Smyths on the other hand convinced the whole crowd that they were as close to the real thing as possible. What a performance.

Second time lve seen The Smyths. Never got to see the real Smiths in my youth but these are definitely the next best thing. Re:order also very entertaining - amusing to watch and commendable cover of joy division tracks also.

A virtually non-stop performance from a top tribute act. All of the songs were faithfully interpreted by these accomplished musicians and their expectably flamboyant frontman.

Absolutely incredible, honestly! Re-order were great in their own right, I enjoyed their Joy Division tracks the most, the Smyths were top drawer. i have seen them at small venues but they came into their own at The Ritz. To be able to watch two iconic sudo Mancunian bands at a venue like The Ritz was special, thanks to all those involved, brilliant!
