Just a brilliant event, team golf is amazing to watch and there is never a dull moment with every putt meaning something! Great event and already looking into 2013 tickets!

I love to watch the golf any time but this was awesome. It's the best golf competition to watch & to be there is even better.

My first visit to the Solheim cup and whilst we (Europe) weren't expected to win, what an amazing and exciting finish. The European teams mental strength to pull back in the last 3 games was unbelievable, I was near to tears. The crowds were lovely, full of spirit and supportive of both teams. Even in defeat the American supporters were in good spirits and very friendly towards all the supporters.
Hats off to Ireland for hosting it, local transport from Dublin was laid on and made it easy to get to the venue, and the Irish hospitally is, as always, fantastic. I loved every minute of it.

This was my first visit to Ireland and my first Solheim Cup experience. We attended all competition days and found everything well organised and everyone so friendly. I will definitely be going to another Solheim Cup!

Drop off points from buses was near enough to the venue. The tented village had enough food outlets & bars, & lots of shops...The hospitality of the people from Dublin was great.

Solheim Cup in 2011 was well worth going to. Pity it's only in Europe every four years and changes country, which is understandable.
Ticketing experience not so good. Tickets for Ping Pavillion arrived well before the event, which was good, but parking tickets didn't. They arrived in the UK well after I left for Ireland. Why weren't they sent together?
Also Ping Pavillion seemed radically over sold. I didn't even bother on the very wet Sunday having seen people streaming over there, as I knew there would be no seats available as they were limited in number. Additionally the Ping Pavilion was not well positioned at the course, out of the way, not really close enough to the 7th to see anything. I would not waste the cost of this Pavillion again given the amount of time I used it. I also found better food suited to my diabetic needs in the general food area.
The preferred parking for the Ping Pavillion seemed strangely laid out. As the week went on I was parking further and further away from the Pavilion. I do appreciate the very wet conditions made parking difficult. Late on the last day my car park was full and I only found parking way out in the sticks in public parking, which was extremely annoying having paid premium price for the event. As as result I did not stay until the end of the golf or the presentation, which was a pity. Having walked the course for a week, I did not want to walk another couple of miles to get through the mud to my car.

The golf course was a lovely venue for this event unfortunately ther were no on course radio broadcast for this event. Having been to Open and the last two Solhiem Cup competitions in Sweden where on course radios were available we missed this service and feel that in future there should be an on course radio broadcasst as sometimes it is difficult to keep up with the forever change state of play.

The three days were fantastic. We watched brilliant golf on a brilliant course with fantastic results. This event will be a lifelong memory. Looking forward to Colorado in 2013!
