The British Speedway GP is an event not to be missed , starting with the Friday practise night, the Saturday fan zone to the event it's self. The stadium is second to none ,so well organised lots of helpful staff. Two big screens to watch the replays on and if you buy a programme a radio commentry as well. Seating is good with great views of the whole track. The speedway is always great entertainment. Only down side is sometimes the pre race entertainment not as good as it used to be , doesn't really get the crowd going. One year had Suzy quatro really got crowd joining in.

This was my 3rd. visit to a Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff and each ocasion has been better than the previous one.
The atmosphere is electric and the fans all appreciate good hard racing which always leads to a very popular winner.

Speedway gp is the pinnacle of the sport. It's top entertainment for the whole family. Cardiff and the venue are superb and the atmosphere is electric

Fantastic event, never disappoints, have been back several years now always amazing, well organised, load friendly crowds. Make the most of the pre event stuff on in the city center, get there early/ lunch time. Loads to see. Take your time leaving always a crush to get out. We used the park and ride this year, had to Que to get back, easier to get parking in city center or stay in ' budget' hotel in city. but book early!!. Don't miss the fireworks at end, awesome.

Awesome event, well organised, fantastic racing, PA stills needs to be clearer from my seat. Otherwise really enjoyable event.

As above the actual event was really very good, good atmosphere, good racing. However the Dragon hospitality suite was very disappointying. It was poorly organized, there was nowhere near enough choice as far as the food was concerned and what there was not not very good - two choices for the main course neither of which I liked and not even enough to make a salad. My husband got pasta which he does not like and it was not what he asked for. There was no choice with regard to the dessert. Very disappointed with this and feel it definately did not warrant what was charged. We will definately be at the meeting next year but will most certainly give the Dragon Hospitality suite a miss.

Thought that the track was not as good as previous yearswith very little passing in the majority of races. Also there was a lack of merchandise facilities inside the stadium. The atmosphere was as good as usual.

Holder waz class of the field. Nicholls ... ohh so close mate you still got it!!!!! Kasprzak EXCELLENT runner up.Bad luck Greg :-( Series set up for a mouthwatering last 3 rounds. Phwooooaaarrrrr!!! Right up there with the best of the best. Speedway just doesnt come much better than this!!!!!!!!!!

I've been going to the Millenium Stadium to watch the Speedway GP every year since 2008. Back then it attracted over 60,000 fans. This year, 2012, I doubt if there were more than 40,000 with many more fans taking up the cheaper seats higher up in the stadium. I am of the opinion that numbers attending are declining as the format each year is the same. The quality of the speedway itself is great and gets better every year. So it must be the supporting activities that are failing to deliver the ultimate experience to keep the fans coming back. The pre race entertainment is made up of artists/people nobody really knows. It needs either motorbike entertainment or a chart topping band for pre race entertainment. Also, fans will only keep attending if we have British riders in the GP series who remain competitive. Should Chris Harris not qualify, Scott Nicholls decline a GP invitation and no British rider in the series, then attendance figures will plummet in the millennium for 2013 which will be a pity as this event is something special.
Nonetheless, the 2012 GP was an exciting eventful enjoyable night of speedway. The pre race entertainment was not at all inspiring and the PA/sound system was awful this year. I could not understand hardly any of the commentary or of the results. I noticed there were no speakers around the outside of the track this year.
Nonetheless, I'll be back next year as I love my speedway GP at Cardiff. I just hope in 2013 it can offer better value for money, better pre-race entertainment and an improved sound system.

As an armchair Speedway fan this was my first time at the GP. What a superbly organised event held in a fantastic venue and located in a super City and country.
I have already booked for next year so I can get another fix of the atmosphere of Cardiff and the Millenium Stadium
You would be crazy not to go if you can

We really enjoyed the whole experience at Cardiff. From exploring the town shops and browsing the memorabilia on offer, to the actual meeting itself. The atmosphere all day was amazing and everyone was so friendly...with lots of different nationalities visiting the place.The racing in the evening was exciting and we were on our feet quite a few times! We shall certainly be revisiting Cardiff again next year. Bring it on!!!

This was the most exciting event that I have seen in years.
Also the carnival atmosphere and fantastic behaviour of the fans both in and around the stadium was fantastic.
