Was quite new to Jesca Hoop, but decided to check out the gig and I am so glad I did! What seems a bit too quirky when recorded seemed to make much more sense live. And she's so funny! Had us in stitches. Backing singers were also amazing.

Opening act(s): Excellent singer, handled the problem of audience chatter pretty well, considering how difficult that is. Songwriting maybe not the strongest part of his art and he could do with a band but I enjoyed it. @

Good gig, I enjoyed it. I've been to quite a few of her gigs and this was among the ones I most enjoyed. I couldn't quite get into the opening number. It was a new one to me and seemed a bit all over the place. Could be a grower though. From then on it was all good. The band were very strong, excellent backing vocals and an elegant guitarist. The drums were a touch too loud maybe, thinking about it, probably not his fault and could be due to where I was standing. His playing was fine. Jesca was inspirational as always. Overall I had a fun time and would happily recommend her and the band to anyone. And do in fact. I brought a friend who'd never seen her before and she seemed to like it too.

Jesca Hoop has an amazing voice, thoughtful lyrics and the whole feel of the show was really easy and laidback. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Surely Jesca Hoop is destined for great things. The room was small and intimate, and she held the audience in the palm of her hand. WItty and engaging, with the voice of an angel. It's a very pared down sound, with her simple guitar accompaniment and backed by drummer and guitarist, plus her two female backing singers. Great songs, great arrangements and amusing anecdotes between songs. A must see.

Firstly, had not been to Bush Hall before, i knew alot of good bands had played there so i was looking forward to going for my first time, i loved it, not too big, just the right size and atmosphere, really chilled vibe, very nice touch with the candels on tables.Then the two surport acts were just a joy to watch, Mark Hole, fantastic, then Treetop Flyers, our very own answer to Fleet Foxes, brilliant!!! And then the Pièce de résistance was Jesca Hoop with her small band but big noice, and her great Voice, it couldn`t get better than that for a gig nite, all round superb gig.
