Sorry but this play was a complete waste of money. It lasted little over an hour including a 15 min interval. The stories were confusing and muddled the people on the stage working the puppets crowded the stage so you were concentrating on them rather than the story in hand. My four year old who is an avid Charlie and Lola fan was so disappointed as was I having just spent £27 on an hour of rubbish frankly.

The whole show was only on for about 45mins and I felt the price of £12.50 it was not worth it especially as I had to pay the full ammount for a child aged 5. We were both very disappointed with the content of the show was so disappointing. I would not reccomend this to anyone else. I am not alone in this as all my friends who went felt the same. It didnt help that the theatre has gone done hill so much in recent years.

The puppets and objects were a little on the small side and Lola's voice was hard to hear. We moved to a front seat for the 2nd half and this was much better and we enjoyed this half much better.

My daughter is coming up 3, loved everything in the show, butterflies falling from the sky, bubbles, laughter great models of Charlie & Lola,
They followed the show very well, all correct images and dream sequences Loved it myself too.

characters were played by carboard cut outs not actual people in costumes
the children lost interest such a shame as it was a 1st time to the theatre for some of the children and dissapointing for the ones that had allready been to a theatre
poor value for money
