Terrible in every way!! Even the kids got bored! The "actors" could not act, the singing was out of tune, the audience participation laughable and the props must have been made at very short notice.

.A good time was had by all of us, myself, my husband and four young grandsons. I was particularly impressed by the adult attendance and it was appreciated as they encouraged the children to hiss and boo at the baddies at the right times and it was just fun. The production was very professional and the choreography was excellent, the whole experience was good. Thank you all for such a wonderful production and a great evening out, we shall certainly do it again.

Absolutely fantastic show. Best panto I've been to. Just the right mix of daftness, double entendres and audience interaction. Would definitely recommend. Well done to cast, director and all involved.

We attended the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Pantomime at Darwen this Christmas and found it a terrific performance. The quality of the show, enthusiasm of the performers and intimacy of the venue made it memorable.

We will definitely attend another performance here.

My only feedack was the show length - at nearly 2.5 hours incl 15 minutes interval meant it was a little long for some of the younger audience. My only suggestion would be to cut the lengthy of the show down slightly. Otherwise excellent - thanks ;-)

Excellent, pacey, funny, fast moving panto, appealing to children and adults alike. This was a very enjoyable family show. All actors and dancers were perfectly fit for their roles and appeared to have fun as well as performing the show. The time flew and audience was moved from fear, of stepmother/witch, to laughter at Muddles Duddles and his mum (Fanny) , to pathos - Muddles not gaining Snow Whites love. Well done PMA and DAPA. All resolved at the end!

This is the second year I have taken the grandchildren to watch the Christmas pantomime at Darwen Library Theatre and they loved it. Although only a small theatre, they obviously work hard to put on a great performance and I can't wait to see what next year brings.
The one thing that I would love to see happen is for the cast to be available at the end of the show to have thier photo taken with the the kids, even if they made a charge for charity.
If you get the chance, go see it.

This was a good all-round fun show for the family with plenty to like for the kids and the mums and dads. The kids couldn't wait to inter-act with the cast! The cast was great.

Excellent panto even better than last year at Torquay (Alladin). Simon Grant is fantastic he makes the show and everyone feeds off his enthusiasm. We are going next year when it's Cinderella.

Went to see this on boxing day the theatre was packed out and had a great atmosphere. The show it's self was fab, snow white and the wicked witch were amazing, but my favorites was Sarah the palace cook and the main dwarf. Would definitely recommend this show to anyone our kids had a great time.

AFTER BEING SNOWED IN FOR A WEEK I WAS DETERMINED TO GET MY CAR OUT TO TRAVEL TO bRISTOL TO SEE THIS PANTO. i AM SOOOOO GLAD THAT I DUG MY CAR OUT!! THE PANTO WAS FAB!! GOOD ACTING AND VERY FUNNY-- MUDDLES WAS BRILLIANT!!! MY KIDS LOVE IT!! THANK YOU!!

Really looking forward to this but felt it was a let down. The cast were poor and it suddenly ended but felt that it was only half way through the story.
Saw Beauty & the Beast at The Court Yard at Hereford and in comparison this was a much better production.

First time I have felt let down visiting the Bristol Hippodrome

Probably an irrelevant 'review' seeing as I saw the last performance, so my words aren't really going to influence anyone, but I can't believe I saw the same show as all these other people who gave it four or five stars. I like good panto but this was anything but good panto. It was lazy and (Witch Queen and possibly Andy Ford excepted) poorly acted. Joe Swash? Nice engaging bloke on the telly, but zero stage presence or timing whatsoever (plus he doesn't sing or dance, so not that useful in a show like this). And why was he miscast as a dashing prince?? Usually in a show as awful as this there is the consolation of watching the attributes of the dancers but unfortunately somebody, known as the 'choreographer', bizarrely decided that classical ballet was appropriate. All in all an excruciating waste of four hours of my life. (Phew, feel better now.)

PS Saw Ali Baba the previous day at the Tobacco Factory ... half the price, only 5 actors and 1 musician, but 5 zillion times more entertaining than this rubbish.

i attended the matinee with my five year old grandaughter. i have been taking my grandchildren to the bristol hippodrome for a number of years.
i was very dissapointed with the content of the story. it was not geared to children which pantomimes are aimed at. the wicked queen was frightening for young children and she was on stage far to many times, i felt the show was centred around her when the seven drawfs were very entertaining and my grandaughter loved them. a great dissapointment after a long wait to watch it.
i think the producers should pay more attention to slapstick comedy rather than sophistication, children do not want that. the times she laughed the most were the times the dwarfs fell over and were being funny.

Overall the show was good. Muddles and the Wicked Stepmother were excellent. Snow White very good in parts but a bit wooden at times. Dwarves were great! However, £90 for my family to sit up on those hard seats at the top was over the top - but as it was a birthday treat for my Granddaughter it had to be done!!
