Favourite moment: Tune for a Found Harmonium as the final encore - just a wonderful tune, and the whole audience was on their feet. @
Opening act(s): Eleanor McEvoy - really very good, almost upstaging Sharon herself, and mobbed by people buying signed albums on the way out, myself included @
I've been aware of Sharon for a while and have one of her albums. I saw part of her set at the Feis earlier this year and that encouraged me to book this. Also partly I was interested to see the Union Chapel, which is an unusual but rather magical setting, and I will be looking to go back. Anyway, it was a very enjoyable concert full of lively irish music played by expert musicians - the only downside is that you really ought to be dancing to this kind of music and the pews in the chapel aren't very conducive to that! I left on a high, and you can't ask for more than that.
