I give 5 stars based on the performance of Florence and the Machine only. Florence's voice was sublime and the music excellent. The band performed a variety of songs, although the emphasis was on the new album, maybe I'd have liked one or two more from "Lungs". However this was more than made up for by her performance which was thrilling throughout - I'd recommend to everybody.
As for The Horrors, it was an absolute travesty. The music was way too loud, which blurred all the subtle melodies into one, leaving the lead singers voice to drone on underneath the cacophony. The only song which was well performed well was "still life".
Spector who started the show were much better, managing to pull off an entertaining performance. However my favourite bit was the lead singers quips in the interludes between songs.
