Alex Cuba: get to see him!!

We went to see alex Cuba as part of our weekend in London; we wanted to go to the Jazz Cafe and he was the one playing. How lucky were we. He was not a brilliant but rather self indulgent musician but an extremely talented guitarist who was also an amazing performer who engaged effortlessly with his audiance. His musical style varied song by song and was exciting and educating, making me aware I was hearing and enjoying tracks I might not necessarily listen to usually. He also appeared to be a geuinely nice man; we met him outside,shook his hand and had our photo taken with him, a pic his manager took of us with him. We were so excited we forgot to take any with our cameras! By the way, his drummer and bass player are also fantastically talented, playing complicated, syncopated rhythmns with ease.
